Eman Pulis Talks About the Recently-Held Affiliate Grand Slam

Interview with Eman Pulis About the Recently-Held Affiliate Grand Slam

Affiliate Grand Slam featured a series of well thought out conferences and startup pitches that ran across the 2-day event, gathering thousands of like-minded candidates - content marketers, conversion optimisation and lead generation specialists, media buyers, affiliates, SEO gurus, and influencers. The brand’s first international expo was held on the 25th and 26th of May, with the Dubai summit welcoming a strong crowd to the Intercontinental Dubai Festival City.

Moreover, alongside AIBC, the company’s emerging tech-focused event, the AGS Europe expo brought some of the top creators, thought leaders, and policymakers to its stages, expo floor and judging tables. Most importantly, all contributors were able to hear more about the latest trends in affiliate marketing and make new connections. On this occasion, we spoke to Eman Pulis (Founder of SiGMA) to hear what he had to say regarding the famous AGS.

With the Affiliate Grand Slam being behind us, successfully held, what are your first impressions?

We were delighted to have received such a good turnout! Holding the event alongside AIBC has also illustrated the many benefits of cross pollination between the two sectors, doubling opportunities and enhancing the experience for investors and operators. It is this success we hope to build on this November for Malta Week, where we’ll host 4 events; SiGMA, AGS, AIBC, and Med-Tech World.

Did the event fulfil your expectations?

Absolutely, we are always conscious of maintaining the high level of quality our events have become known for - and thanks to a dedicated team, we were able to tick all the boxes when it comes to a great show.

As you mentioned earlier, the AGS gathered 150 speakers, over 4,500 attendees and 150 exhibitors, but what were some of the most attended sessions of this event?

We had a great line-up of panels and keynotes, including top-notch speakers, so it’s easy to see why people made a beeline for the stage. Our Pitch competition also generated a lot of buzz, with Hayi winning for a strong presentation which focused on building strong communities and making connections between neighbourhood stakeholders.

The attendees had a unique opportunity to connect with some of the leading affiliates, policymakers, thought leaders, suppliers, and operators in the industry. What do you think participants liked the most about the conference?

The diversity of guest speakers and a carefully crafted agenda meant the conference was able to offer a truly in-depth look at the industry - bringing something of interest to everyone.

What were some of the topics that were discussed?

We looked at everything from opportunities across the Middle East, digital brand strategies, to the use of SEO, tech to increase competitiveness and emerging markets leading the conversation. We also brought crossover opportunities to the table with panels on crypto and its potential to shake up the way we market new products.

Can you please share some other conference highlights?

At their core our events are all about great networking, we also held some great evening events for delegates throughout the 3 day show with a series of relaxed dinners offering our delegates, speakers, and exhibitors a chance to come together and celebrate new partnerships and old friendships.

What’s up next - what is the next iGaming event that we can all look forward to?

Malta Week this November should be on everyone’s event calendar. We’re holding a 4-show week in Malta, bringing gaming, emerging tech, digital marketing, and medical technology together in a first-of-its-kind super event. See you there!
