7 Slot Games That Need to Become a Reality

7 Slot Games That Need to Become a Reality

One of the best things about slots is that pretty much anything can become one. I mean, when you think about it, it’s crazy how many of the best online slots are based on TV shows, movies, and games. Just over the past 2 years alone, we’ve seen Bridesmaids, Dracula, The Invisible Man, Jurassic Park, and Game of Thrones get the slot treatment.

We don’t know what Microgaming, NetEnt, and all the other game makers have planned for their next big release. But here’s what we’re hoping to see soon!

1) Breaking Bad

Breaking Bad

If we had to bet on what the next TV slot will be, Breaking Bad would be our first pick, no doubt about it.

The AMC show about a chemistry teacher turned drug lord has become one of the biggest cultural phenomena of the 21st century, and we’d love to see what Walter White’s crazy life would look like on the reels.

Plus, with 5 seasons of material to work with, there’s no telling what bonus features a studio could come up with. Evade the DEA? Make risky deliveries? Eliminate your rivals? Who knows! But we hope someone picks up the idea soon.

2) Doctor Who

As one of the longest-running shows on TV, Doctor Who is an obvious choice for a slot makeover – especially now that it’s more popular worldwide than ever before.

And there’s literally no limit to what a slot developer could do with this sci-fi series. Really. Fighting Daleks and Cybermen, running into other Doctors, and maybe even a big jackpot payout for killing The Master? Sounds like a good time to me!

3) Pulp Fiction

Quentin Tarantino’s 1994 film Pulp Fiction would make the most bad-ass slot ever… if a studio was daring enough to take it on.

When’s the last time you played a slot where you could dance with Uma Thurman, scream profanities at John Travolta, and clean up a bloody car with Harvey Keitel? It’d be a crazy good time just being a part of the bloodbath. The only thing we wouldn’t want to see? The Gimp Bonus.

4) Fight Club

Mischief. Mayhem. Soap. All the makings of a potentially awesome slot game. We can only imagine what would happen if one of the major developers took on this 1999 David Fincher film as their next big project.

I mean, they could keep it simple with just a fighting bonus, but we kind of hope they’d throw in something a little stranger: a throwback to Edward Norton’s support group addiction, or maybe even a bizarre Project Mayhem free spins round.

5) Prison Break

With talks of a reboot in the near future, a Prison Break slot would be the perfect game for a top studio to release next year. The show was ridiculous in the best possible way. If you’ve ever seen it, you know what I mean: crazy deaths, insane betrayals, and tons of nail-biters.

Our ideal version of the game would revolve around your very own prison break with a big payout if you could pull it off. And maybe a shout-out to T-Bag’s hand.

6) The Matrix

NetEnt have already released Aliens and The Invisible Man; maybe their next sci-fi masterpiece will be The Matrix? There’s a lot they could do with this iconic film’s dystopian future.

Imagine being able to join Morpheus and his crew as they unplug humans from the strange system, winning cash along the way. Sounds like a pretty sweet gig to us!

7) Blade Runner

The last movie we’re dying to see on the reels? None other than 1982’s Blade Runner.

There’s really two ways a game developer could take it: you could play as escaped humanoids trying to live a normal life on Earth, or as the Blade Runner who’s hunting them. Or maybe both in two separate bonus features! Either way, it’d be one hell of a nail-biter on every spin.

From Hollywood to the slot machine

We might not know what the next big releases are going to be from the top slot studios, but we hope at least a few of these TV shows and movies get a slot remake soon. Got another one you’d like to see on our list?
