Is that Indiana Jones in the screenshot of this BestSoft's Lost game? Nah, it isn't. It's a copycat of the famed Indiana Jones. This guy has no name, so it could even be Indiana Bones, for all I care. Hehehe. Playing with 30 paylines, with selectable lines, which I like, and with very nice graphics too, as anyone would expect out of any BetSoft 3D games. And typically also, trying to win on any BetSoft games can be a really daunting task indeed, because the win values for all the symbols are hardly ever good enough to provide any good wins, but with a very few exceptions of course.

In this Lost game, that headgear, called the Staff, is a regular symbol on other reels except when appearing on reel 3, when it becomes a full Wild Reel and doubles all wins with it. It substitutes for other symbols as usual, except for the Scatter and Bonus symbols, but doesn't pay anything for itself. The Monkey is also a regular symbol on other reels except when appearing on reel 4, when it becomes a Bonus symbol and awards a 'Click Me' feature game. Argh! I hardly ever liked this type of feature game, because they hardly ever pay good wins. Anyway, keep picking on the symbols to win cash prizes until a 'Collect' icon is revealed to end the game.

That strange symbol is also a Bonus symbol, another dumb symbol nevertheless, and getting all 3 symbols on the reels trigger 'The Mummy's Tomb' Bonus game. Pick a door to win an instant prize, and keep picking until the Mummy appears to end the game. Yet another click-me pick-me game that I don't really like. Worse still, there isn't any Free Spins game feature at all, but is replaced with a 'Reel 3 Respins' whenever wins are encountered. Each new appearing win continues the Respin, and increases the win multiplier from 1x up to 5x maximum. This feature ends when no new win appears. Obviously enough, this is where some good decent wins could be won. Why only decent? Because the symbols simply couldn't pay big enough even with that 5x multiplier, if you can get such wins in the first place. I definitely couldn't. The best I could get was nothing more than 25x my bet amount, and that sucks! The symbols in the game pay from 500 credits for the Raider Guy, 200 credits for the Mummy, 100 credits for the Fat Guy, and down to 10 credits for the lowest symbol, all for getting 5 of each kind of course.

Contrary to the other 'Raider' games, this Lost game couldn't even give me any thrilling moments! The payouts in the base game were mostly very low, the Respin feature gave some better wins but still couldn't excite me, and those 'Click Me' and 'Pick Me' feature games were simply a big bore, especially that Monkey game. I keep getting the 'Collect' icon on my first pick most of the time, winning just 1x up to 3x my bet amount! What the argh! Nope, this isn't a worthwhile game to play at all!

At first sight "Lost" seems a good alternative if you're playing in a "Betsoft" casino because of the number of special features included in this slot, which besides being numerous they also look very interesting,

the sad things are that awards granted by them and the frequency with which they occur are not enough to pretend sustain our balance for long, and it might seem matter of perception, but it could be said that the word "lost" is closely linked to my sessions with this game, which I consider a real shame because for some time I've seen a follower of slots from this company.

As for the visual part of this slot I have no objections to do, Lost has excellent graphics, nice theme inspired by the ruins of Ancient Egypt and gold everywhere, excellent 3D animations, and additionally it has very good sound effects able to dive us into all this adventure, my dissatisfaction comes rather from the few chances that this game provides, in my opinion, to try to get some gains, and why deny that the vast majority of us the players put the potential to generate profits above ornamental aspect of slot machines.

Tight paytable could become justified with the opportunity provided by the re-spins, with multipliers 1x, 2x, 3x, 4x, and 5x, given by the feature "Reel Respins Center", but low hit average during the base game clouds our math hopes as to think in recoveringin just a round of re-spins all the credits lost over 10 or maybe more turns. The "Monkey Click Me" feature seems fairer to me since awards seem to be quite consistent with its activation frequency. A very different perception I have about features "Center Wild Reel" and "The Mummy's Tomb Bonus", which do not seem to have much impact on results of the game, the first is not only infrequent but does not generate significant winnings or at least it is that way in a very high percentage, and the second simply seems to be absent, I guess that many players have ever triggered this feature, but for me this task, rather than a challenge, has become an impossibility.

More than a bad streak I think my defeat in this game has been overwhelming enough as to think that in front of me I have a game that is virtually unbeatable, which is arguably the less appreciated quality in a slot machine.

When the first time I saw a video slot named Lost is available to play at a BetSoft casino I really thought that the slot deals with the popular TV series and I was curious enough to immediately go to play with it. I wouldn’t call it as a disappointment when I realized that the slot has Egyptian theme because it’s got a surprisingly good looking interface even for me who is a big fan of their product. Though the very characteristic BetSoft pictorial solutions can also be seen here like the puppet like pictograms or the funny character next to the reel area but the overall visual effect is more powerful here and I also find it more attractive than an average BetSoft product. I like here the supplementary background image with flaming torches or the illustrating style of the game buttons which are depicted as ancient bowls, treasure chest and the decorative Pharaoh figurehead on the top of the reels and though the symbols like scarabs or Bastet cat and other relics are designed in funny ways but they’re not childish and who said that a great Egyptian themed slot must be ‘serious’ game at all events? So I’m very satisfied with the work of developer here and think they did a really good job with the theme and how they interpret it through a video slot game.

The game segment at this 30-payline slot is very strange and I’m not sure it would be a positive thing in this case. There are some issues which I really think influences the overall gaming experience in bad way like the slot doesn’t use any Wild symbol and doesn’t provide traditional free spins feature but the most serious shortcoming is the payout ability of the winning combinations. I think the 500 times of line bet prize for the best 5 of a kind type win is more than poor and if I consider the slot has massive tendency to run into cold streak I’m not away from the truth when I say this would be almost an unplayable slot if some other features and mini-extras couldn’t help a little bit.

The most frequency occurring feature is the re-spin with win multiplier ability which comes to alive if we can achieve any wins on the table then the center reel re-spin and giving an option for the already completed wins to pay again or other combination to be completed and if the new center reel re-spin gives a symbol that could cause a new win, that combination is counted by doubled prize and the reel re-spins again. The prizes are increasing with every successful spin and multiplied by x2, x3 and x5 and this repeats as many times as no winning formula can be seen on the reels. It’s a good feature with usable function but when the x5 win multiplier is in effect we can’t get too often wins with better paying symbols.

The Center Wild Reel is another little feature which is activated if a Staff symbol arrives on the third reel and then the whole reel becomes Wild and also multiplies the wins by x2. It wouldn’t be a bad add-on but this feature is valid for only the triggering spin so if no wins occurred this feature is really worthless. Monkey Click Me feature starts if a good looking Monkey symbol lands on the fourth reel then all 6 icons on the third and fifth reels covered by Click Me emblems and we have to pick from them until the Collect is found while all successful selection reveals cash prizes which are not too high mostly around x5-x10 of total bet but if we don’t have too much luck and find the unwanted emblem what ends the game usually we get another run on this feature in the next 10-15 spins. Sometimes they can do really good things (especially the Center Wild Reel feature) but I still would prefer the traditional Wild and free spin feature instead of them.

After collecting 4 Eye of Ra pictograms during base game we’re sent to the Mummy’s Tomb bonus round where we have to find the right doors to get rewarded avoiding that ones which hide Mummy. Though it can be a little bit more exciting secondary game but at least the profits are respectable here and the most I could collect was around x85 times of total bet.

All in all, it’s not that bad game but the unpredicted losing streaks sometimes really kill the overall gaming experience and it doesn’t matter how many little feature this slot provides I still think it would have been better if some of the well-known classic features was also assigned to this slot. The visual enjoyment and the great atmosphere is the best qualities of the game and sometimes the playing sessions here aren’t wasted just because of them but calling Lost as a real good game? Um, I don’t think so.

I like this slot from Betsoft, I am not a big fan of this software provider but I have to recognize that this slot is made very well, with a nice design and interesting graphics. I was tired of playing Netent and Microgaming slots, I lost some serious money and I decided that it’s time to play other kind of slots, unknown slots. This slot has 30 paylines, so it should have a minimum bet of 0.30 euro but unfortunately, the coin size is 0.02 instead of 0.01. Anyway, I played with this big bet, 0.60 euro, I wanted to have fun and maybe to win something if I will have luck. When I opened the game, I saw that it has nice graphics but the reels are a little bit too far, so the symbols are smaller. Anyway, the 3d graphics rocks, I was happy to play this slot, I put 15 euro in this slot and I was waiting for some decent wins.

I was impressed when I saw that I had a winning payline and that the center reel span on more time to give me another win, and it kept going, the multiplier increased, reached 5x and span till I got a big win of 26 euro. Also, I saw that this slot has a bonus game called The Mummy’s Tomb, but I didn’t manage to trigger it because 4 symbols are needed and I managed to catch only 2 or 3. Overall it is a good slot, it has good graphics, I will give a 9 for this and also for the nice symbols about treasures and mummies.

The features are good in my opinion, it pays well and I will give another 9!

Now, a bad thing is that they made the bonus game very hard to catch, I don’t know why but I will play again to see this feature!
