Closed account issues

I opened a Jackpot Paradise account on 21st Aug 2018. I requested a withdrawal of £1800 on the 25th August, which came into my bank account after I sent ID, back and front of card, and proof of address.

On 11th September, I requested a withdrawal of £498.46. Stuart < surname removed > from the Jackpot Paradise 'Security and Verification' team then decided that ALL documents had to be notarised - that is, ID, card and proof of address all had to be notarised.

I went to the post office to get these documents notarised for a price which I can't remember, however this was not reimbursed by the casino. I sent in the notarised documents on 11th October after a lot of hassle trying to get this done - back of card, front of card, ID and proof of address.

The casino didn't get back to me until the 16th October, and after a few emails of chasing this up, they eventually told me that the documents weren't sufficient, as the post office doesn't qualify for these documents. They never told me this before, or gave any guidelines. The post office can notarise documents for a mortgage application, but apparently their validity is questioned by Stuart < surname removed > at Jackpot Paradise.

Nonetheless, I then arranged a meeting with a solicitor to get all four documents notarised again - back of card, front of card, ID and proof of address. This costs £25+ VAT per document, which came to a total cost of £90. No other public notary in my area could do this for any cheaper. The documents are absolutely perfect.

Stuart < surname removed > has just got back to me and told me my account will remain closed.

I have had to pay over £10 for the post office documents, £90 for the Public Notary documents, plus travel to and from these places. The total cost is around £140 in order to process a £498 withdrawal. Is this really necessary? Shouldn't customers be aware of these practices before they sign up? How is it fair that a casino would deliberately delay the payment of winnings, and fail to insist upon which documents actually suffice? Why is a post office notarised document insufficient?

I look forward to the response from Stuart < surname removed > , or any of the team at Jackpot Paradise

$1,500 Winnings not being paid
Ever since Mar. 14th when I first made a request to make a withdrawal on my winnings, I have been getting the run around. First off, I submitted all required documentation they requested to verify who I was. I had made the initial deposit of $30 from my Mastercard but yet they advised me that when they went to pay me my winnings , Mastercard would not allow the transaction of them crediting my account? Strange. Nonetheless, I choose a different form of payment of my winnings . The only other option was them issuing me a cheque. That request went in on March 18th. Then on March 22nd, I received an email saying that my winnings were not being paid out via cheque and instead were being returned to my account. They said that they had explained the reason in an earlier email they had sent to me (which i never received). The below is some of the correspondence I have had with this company. I would like to add that ever since I have joined with them, their form of communication is extremely poor. I have had to contact them on various issues - ranging from not being given the 100% welcome match bonus at the beginning, to asking general question on identifcation requirements, etc. Their response time - if they even respond which they usually don't - is very very delayed. All i want is to be issued a cheque for $1,500 on the winnings I won while playing on their site. I have sent them all the required documentation. My guess is that they delay the return, return the winnings into the account in hopes that the person just gives up and gambles their winnings all away back into their greedy little hands. Further to my below email, i have to express my frustration that I have experienced ever since joining this online gambling site. I only joined because of a good welcome bonus offer as well as some decent reviews i read on Ask Gamblers. My experience has become a complete sense of frustration. Is there a phone number I can call in order to actually talk to someone? Days go by before i ever get a response - sometimes I do not even get a response. This is totally unacceptable. Now it appears that my request for my winnings to be sent to be is being denied. I have submitted absolutely EVERYTHING that was required in order to be paid my winnings. I want this dealt with other than emails - especially when i do not get any replies. Jamie ************** From: **********@hotmail.com To: [email protected] Subject: RE: Withdrawal Rejected Date: Thu, 31 Mar 2016 00:50:36 -0700 I have submitted my current B.C. driver's license, a copy of my recent utility bill, a copy of my original $30 Mastercard deposit made to Jackpot Paradise. Kindly, pay me my $1500 winnings as per my request from two weeks ago before i put in a formal complaint. Jamie ****************** From: [email protected] To: ***************@hotmail.com Subject: Withdrawal Rejected Date: Thu, 31 Mar 2016 07:44:46 +0000 Dear Jamie, We would like to inform you that your withdrawal that was requested on the 22/03/2016 and has been cancelled and your £ 1500 have been returned to your account balance. Delayed payment, no response from casino, frustrating verification process
on the 3rd October I won and cashed out at 600. it's now the 27th and my withdrawel is still sat at pending. it's been 8 days since I sent the final bit of documentation and still no response from the security team. jackpot paradise customer service has been terrible and I feel like I'm knocking my head against a brick wall. the background to this story is this. I'd only ever deposited using payment to mobile service and up to thr point of me withdrawing I believe I'd deposited several times using this service and not at anytime been asked to verify my identity. Then I actually win and the list is as long as my arm. my contract for my mobile is in my boyfriends name so I've them been asked to provide a new list of documents which has been provided as I said thr final piece on the 20th October. I have to say I feel totally let down and frustrated with the lack of communication im receiving from jackpot paradise. I even got on the live chat to expressy frustration and all she said is ill pass this on to the security team and they will be in touch in due course! I said great im do happy I took time out of my day to speak to you! not once has a 'sorry that you've found this process frustrating ' which I'd what any good customer service operative would say! also jackpot paradise asked for my mobile bill and to show it's paid in full. what it gas to do wuth them I font know. I've gone through their t and cs with a tooth combe and i've not read anywhere that these requirements are necessary! baring in mind jackpot paradise take 10 to 14 working days for a bank transfer you can see why this is a huge problem. I've had to come on here to formally raise a complaint as I'd try to do it directly with them and they don't seem interested. in fact I emailed yesterday to say if noone replied I'd file a complaint on hear ..heard nothing from thr security team so hear I am ..please help !! I don't no how to attach this history of emails as proof on here but if you require this then ill figure it out
