Wolf Cub slot is a nicely designed 20-payline video slot running on NetEnt, featuring a winter wildlife of the wolf cub and his friends. The Blue Paw symbol acts as wild card, and the Full Moon symbol acts as the scatter card. Players are welcome to try their luck on the slot on this page for free or visit any of the listed NetEnt casinos to play the game for real money.

To experience the chilly air of the winter woods, players need to set their bet first. The wager level is adjusted by pressing the Level - + buttons, and the coin size, ranging from 0.01 to 1, by clicking the - + Coin Value buttons. To start the game, players need to hit the big wooden pawprint button. Autoplay button lets the players preset the number of spins, and the Maxbet turns the reels at the maximum wager.

When 3 or more scatter cards featuring the Full Moon symbol emerge on the reels, Free Spins are triggered. All the reels with scatter card will respin, showing different numbers of possible Free Spins on them. Once the reels are stopped, the sum of all the numbers will give the number of Free Spins awarded (with the maximum of 115 Free Spins).

During Free Spins, additional feature can be triggered. The Blizzard Feature starts when a single symbol fills the reel 1. All the other matching symbols will spread toward the reel 1, by replacing other symbols with the matching one. The Wild symbol will act as one, only if found on the reel 1.

If 5 symbols featuring the Blue Paw (wild card) appear, the 2000-coin jackpot is won.

The ‘Wolf Cub’ slot, is a cartoonish game from NetEnt with 5 reels and 20 Paylines.
The scenery taking place in a familiar wintery forest, illuminated by the Moon! serves as the backdrop for. On the left side, you will see the Wolf Cub, also Snowflakes cascading from the top of the screen, covering the tracks left by the animals! In my opinion, this game transcends a light hearted mood as evidenced by the icons on the reels, bringing back childhood reminisce to me, when my friends and I wanted to explore the vast Forest… In addition, cheery atmosphere, along with the music will bring out the inner child in you!

The symbols including, playful critters of the forest, such as Bear/Moose/Mountain Lion/Wide-Eyed Owl and Wolf Cub himself! The low paying symbols including card suits: Club/Diamond/Heart and Spades carved out from woods! The Wolf Cub is the top symbol and it can give you up to 600 coins for a 5oak. The low paying symbols in the game are the playing card suits. A Pawprint acts as the Wild. The Wild substitutes for all symbols, except the Scatter. These frosted paw prints can appear anywhere on the reels, including the base game and the Free Spins mode. Accordingly, the Full Moon icon is the Scatter which can appear anywhere on the reels. The Scatter rewards Free Spins when you match three or more of the symbol.

Personally, I recommend this slot on a wintertime with Cocoa and Cookies. Hehe!

Howl Howl is the sound you get from Wolf Cub when 2 scatters lands on the reels and you looking for the 3rd one to trigger the free spins feature. I first saw this slot on Casino Euro as an exclusive and decided to try it, only months later it was released on all other casinos. I must admit with providers generating new slots with low pay-tables this slot has one of the more decent pay-tables. Not that it is that much but getting a full screen of a symbol is easy during the free spins feature. The cartoon style graphics is just awesome and clear as day light.

Lower paying symbols include the heart, club, spade and diamond and you also have 5 animal symbols in form of animals which are owls, snow leopards, moose, bears and wolf cubs. The wild symbol substitute for all symbols and pays an amazing x2000 your bet line for 5 of kind. These days on slots wilds does not even pay anything or are not mentioned in pay-tables, they only substitute.

3 moon scatter symbols trigger the free spins feature. Now I must admit, triggering the free spins can take 10 spins or 250 spins and leave you disappointed. The free spins awarded can be up to 120 free spins if you land 5 scatter symbols, but you never get less than 10 free spins. During the feature landing a stacked symbol on reel 1 and landing them anywhere on reels 2, 3 and 4 replicate those reels up to that symbol on the other reels for big wins. So, you would need a stacked symbol on reel 1 and 5 to maximize you win. If you do that with Wilds, you win an amazing x2000 your total bet.

I once managed to get a full screen of wilds, but that was during a tournament, which means not real money play, however I won first place in the tournament and got a decent amount, however $400 would have been better. The feature can pay nothing at times, but most times you will get between x30 – 70 your total bet. Base game pays every now and then and decent, however a lot of empty dead spins can occur.

One thing I can still say about NetEnt games - they can produce games with very cute and adorable cartoon characters, with some catchy background music to keep the feet tapping, or the fingers strumming, but mostly to enjoy and to admire their new releases, time after time. But unfortunately, that's about all of it nowadays, because the current trend of games hardly have good paytables anymore, and the winning values of the symbols in the game would be nothing more than very low, if not extremely low! Is the world's economy that bad nowadays? Or that the revenues from the games simply aren't enough for the game providers, in one way or another? No one knows better than the game providers themselves, but for us players, we just have to live and make do with such low-paying games, like it or not.

I like the look of this Wolf Cub game, but it's not as good or as adorable as Copy Cats. Nonetheless, those happy and smiling animal icons do make for a cheerful game - well, at least from the early beginnings. How a player feels about this game may vary quite a lot in the end, simply because of not meeting the expectations and its generally very low win potentials. The Wild symbol, for instance, only pays 2000x the line bet for getting 5 of them - wherefore has the good old 10,000x gone to? The Scatter symbols have no win value at all, so that makes everything worse, with more winning chances gone with the wind. The other symbols? They start at a very low 800x down to just 80x the line bet for any 5 of them, so huge wins are definitely never in the picture!

If going by its paytabe alone, I guess no one would want to play such low-paying games, but NetEnt has made their games to be interesting enough for players to at least give it a try, or several tries. This Wolf Cub game follows the usual NetEnt's tradition of mix-and-match of features, albeit with some very small changes or new additions, which in this instance, is the pulling of a same symbol leftwards towards that stacked same symbol on reel 1, transforming whatever other symbols in between into the same symbols. This is the Blizzard Feature, which can produce 5-of-a-kind wins, but they hardly ever pay enough to satisfy! Worse still, this Blizzard Feature can only occur during the free spins - argh! This should also occur in the base game, simply because there are no win multipliers anywhere, the Wild symbols do not double any wins, and the free spins do not have any multipliers as well!

All these would become very evident upon playing this Wolf cub game after a while. I spent several hours on the game in one of my play sessions, hoping to get some decent wins, not good wins mind you, but even that took like a century to happen! Most payouts were below 10x the total bet, the Free Spins games would usually pay around 20x or less, with the occasional slightly bigger wins, and out of that several hours of play, I managed to get only one win of 57x! Well, that was very disappointing to say the least, and that play was also the last that I would play on this Wolf Cub game! I have given it some tries, I simply hate all the low payouts, so no more plays from me, ever!

How odd that I'm the first to review NetEnt's Wolf Cub, one of the cutest slot NetEnt ever released. This game has been among us for at least six months.

The first time I was introduced to Wolf Cub was at a BML Limited Group casino with the name CasinoEuro, that also one of my favorite casino of all time. Wolf Cub was an exclusive at CasinoEuro but now is this game playable at other casinos. A wolf could be seen as a symbol of a warrion but then again it could also be seen as a symbol of evil but when you see this wolf cub then you'll know which way this one will lean to.

Creativity is important to find originality and they didn't find it when they created Wolf Cub because this is also another mix of other games and mainly from Twin Spin because of it's stacked symbols feature and Copy Cats because of it's linked reels feature. The only difference between Wolf Cub and other games is the random free spins amount, no other game has this feature and it's a positive thing.

I too like the cartoonish layout, it is kid friendly and it brings our childhood back for a brief moment. Sometimes better looking doesn't mean it's better in game play, I mean I really enjoyed playing Wolf Cub, even it looks very simple but sometimes simple is just enough. All animals in this game are very happy and harmless but that's doesn't apply to it's payouts, too low in my opinion but it is only my opinion.

I do not recommend Wolf Cub if you're playing to win big or get rich very quick, I tried and still failed in it. I do think they should remake this game with a better payouts so this game would be more popular, as you can see I am the first writing a review of this game and that's saying something, right?
