Coyote Crash is a slot that is extremely well done visually speaking, with an amazing background that shows a vast and barren desert to the cartoonish looking symbols that will bring back your memories as a kid. The slot was released by Habanero in 2016, having 5 reels and 25paylines with a bet range of 0.25$ a spin up to 25$ making it great for both casual players and high rollers.

One of my favorite parts of the game is symbols. The main one is, of course, coyote, which is a wild symbol after him there are the skull, cactus, armored truck, snake robber and an eagle police officer which are top paying symbols in the game. There is, of course, a classic card deck of 9, 10, J, Q, K, and A being low paying symbols that show up consistently on the reel.

The game offers only one feature which are the free spins that you can get by getting 3, 4 or 5 TNT loot symbols all awarding you with 12, 25, and 50 free spins. All winnings accrued during this Coyote Crash free spins will be multiplied 2, 3 or 4x depending on how much scatter symbols you got the same as with the number of free spins you get. Personally I never got more than 3 which is what is gonna happen the most, but still you get a lot of free spins and a multiplier.


In the end, this game didn't impress me that much that I hoped to, except for the design and really nice chilling music that you get only when you are spinning. I have to mention that you can gamble your winnings, but sadly the site I played on has turned that option off, but at least there are 3 jackpots that can be hit randomly after each spin mini, minor and major.

This being medium-high variance slot has disappointed me in terms of winnings both in the base game and free spins. After playing for more than 30minutes and doing around 300spins, my highest winnings were 65x. A lot of dead spins occur many times in a row that is literally impossible to get excited.

“Coyote Crash” is a video slot manufactured by “Habanero Systems” whose theme reminds me a little the old Warner Bros. cartoon called, “The Coyote and The Road Runner” and I say this mainly because of the desert environment and T.N.T. images used on the scatter symbol.

Although theme of this game looks fun, I think the video slot was another thing for me, mainly because of the poor performance of this during the base game, which is definitely a weakness caused by low prices assigned to the main regular symbols for lines equal or shorter than 4 of a kind, this besides the fact that the rain of letter symbols that normally appear is out of proportion during both the base game and during free spins rounds.

Admittedly free spins round is quite interesting, first because of the high potential number of free spins the player can get, which is 12, 25 or 50 spins with the appearance of 3, 4 or 5 scatters; and second, because all the wins during this round are multiplied by 4x, so this allows a maximum win of 2,500,000 credits per spin.

However, my winnings during free spins have always been fairly modest to be this a round of 12 spins (I have never obtained more than 3 scatters) where your winnings are quadrupled. My record in these free spins is set to less than 33x my total bet, and since payouts during the base game are fairly tight, it is obvious to say that “Coyote Crash” is a video slot that has made me bite the dust.

Modest payouts are common in progressive slots like this, so that my disappointment is mainly because I expected more from this game as several of the other games produced by “Habanero Systems” have proved to be quite fun and fruitful for me, and this seems to be the coyote who had to assume the role of the black sheep in the family.

In short, “Coyote Crash” slot has not proved to be a game of my taste, mainly due to the weak cash flow towards the player, perhaps that’s why it has been named that way instead of “coyote cash.”
