There are few software providers as prolific as BGaming. The pace at which this studio develops and publishes new titles is admirable to say the least, so picking a single game to talk about is kind of challenging. However, we did single out a recent release and invited BGaming's Chief Product Officer Julia Alekseeva to walk us through this exciting release and share some of the studio's upcoming plans.
Read the full interview with Julia below.
Hi, Julia, and thank you for taking the time to talk to AskGamblers! Recently, BGaming released a new game called Wild Clusters together with Perfect Position Studios, and we'd like to pick your brain about it. Can you tell us what type of player you had in mind while producing the game?
Wild Clusters was developed together with an upcoming studio called Perfect Position Studios with a broad audience in mind. With the data-driven and player behaviour approach from Perfect Position Studios, the goal was to create authentic gambling experiences that go beyond just flashy visuals — focusing instead on how players interact with the game, both emotionally and behaviorally.
The gameplay was crafted to be dynamic and engaging, with features like Drop Dead Spin and the rare 100x Wild Blast providing high-impact moments that stand out — especially in live or streamed content.
At the same time, the game is highly accessible. A high hit rate ensures that casual players stay engaged, while multiple Feature Buy options allow for different play styles and budgets. With a maximum win potential of 5,000x, it offers strong motivation for players to return, no matter their level of experience.
Tell us about the Drop Dead Spin feature. What made you go for such a risky mechanic?
The Drop Dead Spin feature was introduced during the development process, not as a part of the original concept. During game development with Perfect Position Studios, both the server and client sides were built in parallel, with continuous testing of the prototype.
This approach naturally creates space for creative and spontaneous ideas. At one point, the team explored the idea of flipping the traditional concept of slots — where not connecting could actually be a positive outcome.
It was certainly a bold move, but that was intentional. The goal was to surprise players and challenge their expectations of how a slot game can work. At the same time, accessibility was a key consideration.
With bets starting from €0.10, the feature was designed to appeal to a wide audience. While it introduces an element of risk, it also offers a fresh and exciting path to maximum potential rewards.
Now, tell us something about the technical aspects of the game, RTP, volatility, how it works, and the features BGaming included in this title. We found Galaxy features particularly engaging, but there's certainly more of them.
The development of this game focused on delivering a balanced and rewarding gambling experience. It combines fair RTP, high volatility, and an achievable 5,000x max win — a formula that keeps both players and operators happy.
The high volatility adds intensity to every spin, creating the possibility for big surprises. Galaxy Features are a core part of that thrill — visually striking, but also impactful in gameplay. When paired with the progressive multiplier on Mega Symbols, they open the door to some truly unexpected combinations.
Another standout is the 100x Wild Blast — a massive 3×3 Wild with a spinning multiplier. It's rare, but when it hits, it creates a huge moment of excitement. Other memorable wins, like a cluster of 15 pink gems paying 750x, give players satisfying experiences to aim for and keep them coming back for more.
Where can our players access the game? Is it universally available at BGaming casinos, or are there any territorial limitations?
Wild Clusters had an exclusive release with Roobet in March, so it was only available there for almost a month. But as of April 1st, it's live across all our partner casinos.
There are no territorial restrictions; players can access the game globally—anywhere BGaming content is available.
Finally, share some plans for the upcoming period with our readers: games to be released, conferences you intend to attend, etc.
Recently, we released Arrow Slot, a game with retro wave vibes and a fresh mechanic. There are no symbols on the lines, just multipliers, which makes the gameplay feel totally different.
Very soon, players will also get to try Sugar Mix, a sweet, colourful slot with 5×3 reels and 20 lines. It's simple but full of nice little surprises and really delivers that feel-good vibe.
As for upcoming expos, we're planning to attend the NEXT Summit: Valletta in Malta this May and iGB L!VE London this July.
