Sunken Treasure

Another treasure hunting game, but this time we are going underwater into deep seas, where treasure chests and sunken ships await us on the ocean bed. Sadly enough, what greets us is a dull and unexciting mixture of icons and symbols, hardly thrilling enough to befit a sunken treasure hunting scenario. 1 star down.

The Diver, the Wild symbol, does not pay for itself but doubles all wins. The Sunken Ship, the Scatter symbol, only pays 1 x total bet amount whenever 2 ships appear on the screen, while getting 3 or more Ships award the Diver Pick Feature game but doesn’t award any cash wins. What a strange combination! On top of that, all the other symbols have low win values too. 2 stars down.

So what does the Diver Pick Feature game offer? 3 scatters award 3 picks, 4 or 5 scatters award 4 or 5 picks. Each treasure chest will reveal either 5 free spins, or a cash award of 2 x, 3 x, 5 x or 10 x. If a Blue jewel is also found, a separate pick screen will appear and award either 10 x, 20 x, 50 x or a 100 x total bet win. Finding a Red jewel will award much better rewards of 100 x, 200 x, 300 x or 500 x the total bet amount. All wins during the free spins are tripled. Not exciting enough though, so 1 star down.

For a treasure hunting game, Sunken Treasure lacks exciting moments. The icons do not excite, the payouts do not excite, and the three Sunken Ships icons are also hard to come by, well, for me at least. When the Diver Pick Feature game do gets triggered, the 3 picks from the triggering 3 scatter symbols do little justice to the rewards. What I got was 5 or 10 free spins at most, with the third pick giving me a 10 x total bet win. By the end of the free spins, the total wins were nothing more than 25 x my total bet for the very few free spins games that I got. Not exciting at all. This is yet another RTG game that doesn’t play well and doesn’t pay well. A game I would rather pass to play some other game. 2 stars down.

Sunken Treasure is no doubt one of my best in the Real Time Gaming world! It's 20 paylines allows me to whisk away minutes to hours of looting winnings per spin that impressed me for the most part! The feature I like in Sunken Treasure is this Treasure pick round where there are wooden chests inside a Sunken ship just waiting for me to unlock and collect 3 chests. Of course my picks are limited to only 3 as this is the minimum for triggering 3 scattered ships in base. If I had plenty more than 3 scatters I will enjoy having more picks like 4 scatters for 4 picks in the bonus!

While I thought about each selection for a wooden chest, I usually pick the right side. The bottom right for $10, the middle chest close to the right for $10 with a Blue Jewel and 5 extra free spins with another Blue Jewel for the top left chest! These Jewels, whether it be blue or red (hopefully you get the red one) will award a potentially high amount, significant even......if you get lucky at your choice(s)! I now had $20 + 5 Free spins at 3x + a chance to choose two other chests for more wins! Now it's time to choose 2 chests using the Blue Jewels I collected! I chose the top chests on the left and right, giving out $10 and $20 for a grand total of $50 for me to grab. The 5 Free spins I had, only given me a very small $1.80 win but I was completely happy about the bonus prizes in the chests. In one of my triggers I collected this Red Jewel that contained a chance for a super large prize. Although it wasn't the prize I would have hoped for because I needed something larger than 100x, it apparently gave me what I didn't desire......100x on my Red Jewel Pick rather than 200x or more!

Typically this is ultra rare to get and I would uncover more blue jewels in one of the chests faster than with the red jewels. It's like finding an artifact in an excavation site, it could be there or not! If you happen to find a Red Jewel you will certainly be in it for the happy ending!
