Pink Elephants 2 is a slot from Thunderkick that was released over a year ago. The game is a sequel to one of Thunderkicks' most popular slot games- Pink Elephants. And to be honest, I wasn't too excited about this release at first simply due to the fact that I've never been a huge fan of the original Pink Elephants slot and never experienced any major wins. However, I've had my eye on Thunderkick slots as they were coming out with interesting releases, so once Pink Elephants 2 was out, I tried it. And I can say that today it's one of my favorite games from Thunderkick.

The game itself is set into a fantasy world and has 5 reels and 4096 ways, making the minimum bet only 10 cents. That being said, I find this slot to be very volatile and you can easily lose 30 eur with minimum bets quite fast. But it's also a game that has good winning potential which is why I find it entertaining. When it comes to features, the game offers a simple free spins bonus round, which is very similar to the bonus feature in the original Pink Elephants game.

The one thing I really like about this game is the fact that before any spin the game can add scatter symbols on the reels, designed as golden peanuts. I've experienced this feature dozens of times and it has helped me trigger the free spins bonus numerous times. I've even experienced the feature adding 4 scatter symbols, which gives you extra spins. I think it's a nice addition to the game since there's no other base game bonus feature.

Once you get the bonus round, the goal is to get as many elephants with orbs as possible. Reason being, once you collect enough orbs, the lower paying animal symbol will level up, becoming the next higher value symbol. There are altogether 4 levels and if you collect all the orbs that fill the meters, all the animal symbols will become the pink elephant, which is the highest paying symbol. Also every time you level up you get 1 extra free spin. However, it can be very difficult to reach the higher levels and even if you do, they may end up being dead spins. I've had numerous sessions where I simply can't get past the first stage and end up with less than a 10x bet win. However, I've also experienced some really nice wins, for example, in my last session I managed to get to the last stage and had a few big wins with the elephants that ended up giving me a 250x bet win.

Overall Pink Elephants 2 is a simple yet exciting game. The design is vibrant and I like the fact that the base game feature can possibly trigger the bonus round. Also I find the bonus round volatile yet entertaining due to the fact that you're collecting orbs to get to the final stage. It's definitely one of my favorite Thunderkick games and my go-to game to play with small bets.

A slot from Thunderkick and happens to also be 4096 ways to win type of slot. What is going on with this slot is that it is a sequel to the original Pink Elephants. Not much has changed from the original Pink Elephants except some scenery. Instead of desert, there is something appearing like the Himalayans. It still has the 4096 ways, still has the peanuts scatters and you still need 3 peanut scatters to trigger the free spins and the symbols still change into elephants when you collect enough orbs as some elephants have the orbs and some don’t. What did I find different between the first and second is that playing the sequel on my first session I hit a nice base win of 61x. Although I didn’t trigger any free spins in the first session it only took until the 3rd session and thus under 150 spins to get the free spins.

Why are some elephants orbless. Really is that necessary? The one feature I triggered was only 16x, really expected from this as I really dislike low-paying features, considering in the original Pink Elephants I had a welcome feature of 92x while this one welcomes me with just 16x. The feature I had was with a starting 7 free spins and even though I had a retrigger to get 3 extra spins and then had 3 symbols turned into elephants it wasn’t enough however since only a 16xBet feature how can that happen? Especially on a 5x min stake. That is not on in my opinion, since a base hit outperforms a feature. Will I play this slot again, perhaps but it better does something special if it wants me to return more times than that. I will give it another chance as I am in no mood for low-paying features. Whatever the variance is it should give something decent in the features as when a low-paying feature occurs it puts the players off from playing it more. If it wasn’t for that base game win I wouldn’t be considering playing this slot again.
