High Limit European Blackjack is a classy variant of one of the world's most widely recognized table games. The object, as it is with all blackjack games, is to get closer to 21 than the dealer without going over. The game is well-known for its low house edge, but requires plenty of strategy to see these great odds. If you think you're feeling lucky, you can play High Limit European Blackjack at any fine Microgaming casino.
To start a game of High Limit European Blackjack, use the plus and minus signs next to the chip in the lower-left side of the screen to choose a bet denomination. Place the chips by clicking the center betting area. You may add as many chips of any kind as you would like. Press Deal to start the game.
The dealer will deal himself one card and then deal you two cards. You may hit (take another card) or stand (stop taking cards and let the dealer draw to his own hand). To double (place another wager equal to the first, take one more card, and stand), you must have an initial total of 9 through 11. If your cards are of the same value, you may also split them into two hands. If you get a blackjack (initial hand of a face card or ten and an ace), you win 3:2 as long as the dealer does not have one, either. Since the dealer doesn't peek for blackjack, you will lose all wagers if he has a blackjack.
Dealer stands on soft 17, you may only split once, and double after split is not allowed. Double is only allowed on initial totals of 9, 10, or 11.
