As much as I love watching real racing cars zooming along the race track at breakneck speeds, I also love playing games that have wheels-racing in its theme, with or without racing cars. Not a lot of such games are available, mostly old ones, like this one from Microgaming, Good To Go, and including Supe It Up too, so racing fans like myself are still not fully catered for by any game provider. The recent game, Drive Multiplier Mayhem, by NetEnt, is quite an interesting game to play, but that's about it. It doesn't and couldn't make it to the top in my book.

Good To Go plays with only 9 paylines, so anyone can play this game without needing a big starting bankroll. It's rather a personal choice infact, to play Good To Go, or to play Break Da Bank Again, which has much better win potentials, or even to play the infamous Dead Or Alive, the incomparable game ever, the best of the best. But where a racing game is concerned, there aren't many similar games. I can think of only Highway Kings from Playtech to rival Good To Go, but that's another story. The Wild symbol pays 5000x the line bet for 5 of them, and the Scatter symbol pays 50x the total bet for 5 of them on any payline, not scattered anywhere as the usual case. Getting 2 or more Scatters anywhere on the reels, consecutively starting from reel 1, activates the Free Spins game. The Racing Car pays 2500x, the logo G2G pays 2500x too, the Helmet pays 1000x, the Chequered Flag pays 1000x too, and the lower symbols pay from 500x to 100x, all per line bet for 5 of each kind. A good paytable.

The Free Spins game play differently from the usual way. Getting 2 Scatters anywhere on reels 1 and 2 is all that is needed to activate the Free Spins game. These 2 Scatters are held in position and 3 free spins are awarded. Any new Scatter symbol appearing adjacent to the 2 Scatters, awards another 3 free spins, with all 3 Scatters held in position for the next 3 spins, for even bigger wins. Honestly speaking, trying to get 2 Scatters on the first 2 reels can be hard enough, and the 3 free spins that follow doesn't help much either. Most of the time, the game would end with having only 2 Scatters in each spin, paying a boring and disappointing 8x the total bet. Once in awhile, you may get the third Scatter, which would pay 26x the total bet. And that was my best win on this game. A very boring 26x win, comparing to the amount of money it ate! Not my kind of game, I'm afraid. The payouts were very disappointing, contrary to the good paytable. But then again, a good paytable doesn't mean good regular payouts. Those biggies can only come once in awhile, but I ain't gonna wait for them to come to me. Nosirree!

Good to Go Slot is a really nice game. I have played it a couple of times when I was switching from game to game and I have to say that I managed to hit some big wins in it. For 9 paylines slot game there is quite good payouts for many of a kinds. So you could earn some decent money just playing base game here. Wilds also have its own payout, but unfortunately wilds do not have multiplier. Quite strange that Microgaming did not add to this game any bonus game, because I really expected to have some racing feature, it could be quite interesting with this theme.

It is possible to trigger freespins feature, but it is not usual freespins feature, I saw same feature only at couple of slots from Microgaming. You need 2 or more scatters from left to right to be awarded with 3 freespins. Any other scatter appears during this 3 FS will reset FS counter, so you will have another 3. Each FS scatters payouts calculated. Feature ends when you played 3 FS, or get 5 scatters, and then you will have 3 freespins with all scatters payouts. Unfortunately 5 scatters pay only 50 x total bet, so not big potential in this freespins.

During my 100 spins I triggered freespins two times. Both times lost at 3 scatters, so payouts was not interesting. But had couple 4 of a kinds, so with 0.36 bets finished with 10$ profit which is good result for such bet, and for only 100 spins.

Unlikely I will play this slot again. Freespins feature is interesting, but there is not enough huge winning potential for me here. If payouts can be a bit better for scatters - probably I could try this game again.

Good To Go is a game powered my Microgaming that I play on Ladbrokes. It is a game that I have history with and for me it is one of the best. The game definitely has its moments and if you catch at the right time it could pay huge.

I started playing this game when I just registered on Ladbrokes, and because I did not know what I was doing, it was always set on max bet. Thankfully max bet was only €0.45, but it still gave me some amazing wins. I never played a game like this one before, so did not think of anything when I got scatters on the first and second reels. Then I realized that I got the feature and did not know what to expect. I was expecting around ten or twenty euro win, but the game had other plans. It gave me the rest of scatters on the next few spins and paid me a total of over €100. I was shocked and actually had to show it to my brother. I kept on playing and soon after got the feature again. When the feature started I had to leave and when I came back I had another €100 on the account.

Because I have played this game for so long I also have seen the bad side of it. To be honest I rarely see the bad side of this game but when it does happen it hits my pocket big times. I could do over 200 spins and not get the feature, but this is not the worst. The worst is when you get the feature after 200 spins and it only gives you two or three scatters. It happened to me a couple of times and drove me insane.

Good to go is another race theme slot that's much older than the recently released Racing for Pinks. Ancient as I'd like to call it. It is 9 paylines included with a race themed background. Sounds of race cars zooming about can be heard. This slot surprisingly mimics that valentine love slot Secret Admirer as the feature is exactly the same on Good to Go. Instead of left to right diamond rings found on Secret Admirer you would have speedometer symbols as the replacement. They can really make me spin without the feature for many spins at a time before they give themselves up to me! You can think of the Good To Go slot as the slot that picks who gets the feature. It's as if Good To go is turning picky on the player such as myself.

When I try to land the speedometers for $0.63 bets a spin on the reels I will encounter these symbols usually on the 1st reel to nothing on the next or 2 speedometer symbols on the 2nd and 3rd reels. Playing favourites now are we? For a 9 paylines slot, Good to go can surely be a teasing who*e. It lasted 14 minutes before I ended up having it's pleasant respins feature.
