Betfair Affiliates is the official casino affiliate program responsible for Betfair Casino, a multi-platform gaming site which offers players a large selection of casino games including slots, table and poker games, bingo and sports-betting. Games are from the likes of Net Entertainment, Playtech, IGT (WagerWorks), Odobo and WMS (Williams Interactive). The casino is available via web and mobile and offers numerous licenses.
Commission details
Once an affiliate enrols at Betfair Affiliates they will start to earn commission on all the players they refer to the casino in the form of Net Revenue Share and commission will be earned on all Betfair products. On fixed odds, casino, poker and games affiliates will earn commission for the lifetime of the player. On the betting exchange they will earn commission for the first 5 years of the player’s activity from the date they register an account with Betfair.
Commission is paid at a flat fee percentage share however, the percentage increases over time. Affiliates will earn 30% to start off with but this will then decrease in years 2, 3, 4 and 5.
In the case of negative revenue, this occurs on profit and loss products like Fixed Odds, Casino or Games. When a player wins money on one of these products they generate negative revenue, this can impact the affiliates commission in the following month. However on a more positive note there is only one casino so there are no bundling concerns.
Affiliates can also have a look into the CPA and Hybrid plans. These are usually available on request only.
Sub-affiliation
Affiliates have the opportunity to top up their earnings every month with the sub-affiliation program. The scheme is a simple one-tier structure and will pay a percentage of revenue for all direct affiliate referrals to the program.
Payment details
Affiliates will be paid within 30 days of the end of the calendar month and if the affiliate is tax registered they will need to submit an invoice in order to receive payment, if the affiliate is not tax registered they will not need to do anything and payments will be sent automatically.
Affiliates can choose to have their commission sent via a number of different methods which include Skrill, Neteller and Bank Wire Transfer. The affiliate will need to meet the minimum payment threshold of £50 which is set for all payment methods before commission will be paid. Any balance under this amount at the end of the month will be carried forward to the next month. The minimum threshold can be increased at the affiliate’s request.
All affiliate payments can be processed in Euros or British Pounds Sterling and there are no admin fees.
Software
Betfair Affiliates utilize the NetRefer software. This is a popular software used for affiliate marketing firms as the dashboard makes it easy for affiliates to track their progress over time and allows them to investigate vital information for the success of their business. The software also allows customized reporting features as well as features that allow affiliates to make decisions about their marketing strategies.
