Even at 30x it was a tough challenge to beat this bonus although I didn’t realise at the time because I was fairly new to playing on-line and didn’t really pay much attention to specific terms and conditions. A 100% match on £200 sounded like a nice deal so I took it, and it was only after I began playing and checking my remaining wagering requirements on the paddy power site that I realised I had maybe just washed my £200 down the toilet.
I really don’t think much of any casino that attaches a wagering requirement to your deposited amount as well as the bonus funds – lets face it if they gave the TRUE figure of wagering requirements are 64x the bonus amount, then I think there are a great many players who would realise this bonus is something of a rip-off, and decide not to participate. The industry has created this way of displaying this information in order to conceal the ever increasing demands placed on bonus funds, in my opinion.
I did have some good fun playing with the bonus and got to know a great many Playtech games for the first time, but sadly I did not get anywhere close to beating the enormous wagering requirements of about £12,000 – I busted out somewhere around the £5,000 mark. I didn’t bother taking the follow up bonuses which were 50% but again locked your deposited amount into the wagering as well – this really is an extreme rip off ! I’d advise NEVER taking a bonus of less than 100% if the wagering requirements dictate you must wager your own funds as well as the bonus.
