My fears turned out to be unwarranted, however, and I received my winnings without problem or delay just a couple of days after making my second deposit. I felt I was on a roll and had a fair bit of extra cash lying around, so despite it being midweek decided to go for it again depositing the maximum once again for the 3rd deposit bonus, receiving £25 for a starting balance of £125 and a wagering requirement of £1,000, eight times my initial stack.
Of course, these lucky runs never last forever and I quickly found myself in the hole, spinning myself down to a little under £50 within minutes doing 90p spins on Dead or Alive 2. I dropped my bet down to just 27p but despite hitting three bonus rounds in quick succession, found myself unable to break the spell.
My starting balance felt a million miles away at this point and I still had well over 80% of wagering requirement still to go, it felt like going bust was just a matter of time… I tried a bunch of games for just a few spins each, but it always feels a little pointless when you are spinning for a few pennies after burning through the majority of your balance at much higher stakes.
On this occasion I wasn’t able to recover, no magic rescue spin threw itself out of the slots, but alas, despite spending £100 I really wasn’t too worried and had already decided I was going to drop the same in again to collect the final leg of my welcome bonus.
