Wolfpack Pays is one of the newest video slot from NextGen Gaming software provider. It has 5 reels and 243 pay ways to win. I do not like their games so much, mostly because of small payouts during main game. I never had any massive big win on them during free spins and because of that i rather play other software games where I had better luck. I tried Wolfpack Pays video slot a few days ago, but I did not have any big win on it.

The game has on a roll mode. Any win awards a free spin. Wolf wilds are added at the start of each free spin and free spins continue with each consecutive win, up to the 4th spin. A win on the 4th free spin awards the free games. An extra 5 wolf wilds are added during this free spins feature.

So during the feature, there are some paw tokens. Each spin took you one token, and if you have 3 non-winning spins the feature end. I think this feature is not so friendly since you get only 3 paw tokens. Main game is not so interesting for me, even if i get free spin. The payouts were low while I was playing it. It was really hard to get free spins feature and when I triggered it, it disappointed me. I expected bigger payouts here, and much more free spins. I had only around 4 or 5 free spins and I won from them only x5 bet. I think this is really bad for the game which has 243 pay ways to win.

I am sure I will not play this game again in near future. It is designed well, but there are all other things which I don’t like. Payouts, free spins feature. Could be set much better than it is now. I will rate it with 5 stars.

Sunset, river, and forest are the elements that decorate the background of this attractive slot called “Wolfpack Pays,” which, as its name implies, it is a slot dedicated to wolves and the wild land they inhabit; a spectacular view in my opinion.

This is the theme of this new slot manufactured by the company “NextGen Gaming” recently released during the month of May 2016, and of which I would say it generates an incredible attraction not only for its nice appearance but also for its astonishing RTP theoretical (Return to Player) estimated in 97,756%, which in my opinion is faithfully reflected in practice when playing, at least that was the feeling this video slot left me.

The first strength of this game will be found on the paytable, not for prices stipulated for regular symbols, but for the small number of them, and the way this fact positively influences the activation of its special feature; with fewer symbols rolling on the reels it is more likely to form lines of at least 3 of a kind, even more so if we are playing a slot of 243 ways to win like this; and this is precisely the way to trigger the free spins round of this game.

In “Wolfpack Pays,” a free re-spin is given to us every time we get a hit; in the first re-spin a wild symbols may appear on reel 3; during the second consecutive re-spin, they may happen wilds on reels 2, 3, and 4; and thereafter they may happen wilds on all the reels; and if we get four hits in a row, then we unleash a round of free spins with wilds spinning on all the reels, round that will last indefinitely until you accumulate three non-winning spins shown as paw tokens above the reels.

My best big win came from the appearance of 4 full wilds (the size of 2 squares) on reels 1 to 4 and an eagle and two minor symbols on the reel 5, this happened during one of my rounds of free spins, which ended with a total winning of approximately 145x my total bet, which is for me a pretty decent prize in my opinion.

An RTP of 97,756% generates a very high expectation from the player, and as far as I'm concerned, I have to say that after playing “Wolfpack Pays” for the first time, I do not feel disappointed at all because I found it supremely exciting and entertaining, and as for the payouts, I think in this game everything is well balanced to provide a fair system of payments, it all depends on your luck and the effectiveness of your betting strategy.

I am personally very pleased with what I've seen and, going a little further, I think this is a game not to be missed.

I am a very big fan of NextGen games and Wolf Pack Pays was one of their new releases and I had to try the slot. I notice this was an all ways pays slot, and would be my first all ways pays slot to try from NextGen Gaming. I tried Medusa 2 which is 243 ways pays but I have never been successful in winning on this game.

The game features wolf symbol which is the highest paying symbol following by a suit of cards symbols which is diamond, club, heart and spade. The wild symbol is also a wolf, but in a stacked form. When you spin the reels and win, a free spin is earned, wolf wilds are added after each free spin. After the first free spin wolf wilds are added to reel 3, after the 2nd spin wolf wilds are added to reels 2, 3 & 4 and after the 3rd free spin wolf wilds are added to all reels giving you more chances to win. If you win on your 4th spin the free spins feature is triggered, which means this game does not have any form of scatter to activate free spins.

When entering free spins mode, 3 paws are added to the screen and that is to monitor your available free spins. During free spins if you win, the paws stays in check, for every spin you do not win, 1 paw disappear. When all 3 paws disappear, the free spins feature is over. So if you lose 3 times consecutively after each other, means you only got 3 free spins. Also during free spins Wolf Wilds are added on all reels which really helps a lot to make some decent wins. Normally in most NextGen games the main game pay-out is low. Your excitement and big wins mostly come from the free spins features, but with Wolf Pack Pays, the main games can pay a lot as well during the 3rd and 4th free spins.

When I played this game, it was in a bad mood and didn’t pay at all, lost about $50 in 30 minutes at $0.80 bet. This is one of the first games of next gen I tried as well that does not have the super bet option, which is something a feature I really like as the super bet options helps stabilizing your balance.

Overall this game is good, it reminds of me Wolf Quest from GameArt.
