Starting a game of Vegas Strip Blackjack is as easy as setting your bet. Do this using the - and + buttons on the bottom-left. Then just hit “Deal” to begin playing.
The dealer will deal you and himself 2 cards. He will then reveal one of his. If your initial total is 21 (ace + ten or face card), you will receive a payout of 3:2 instantly unless the dealer also has one. Likewise, if the dealer has a blackjack and you do not, you will lose immediately. Otherwise, the game will continue.
The object of Vegas Strip Blackjack is to beat the dealer, either by getting closer to 21 than the dealer, or by having the dealer go bust while you are still in the game. You get to play first. You can either “Hit” and take another card, “Stand” and turn gameplay over to the dealer, or “Double” and double your wager and take just 1 more card. If your initial 2 cards are equal in value, you may “Split” them into two hands and double your wager.
Keep these rules in mind when considering proper strategy: Vegas Strip Blackjack uses 4 decks of standard cards. Dealer stands on all totals of 17 or higher, including soft 17. You may split most cards into a total of 4 separate hands, except aces, which may only be split once. Split aces only receive 1 card each. Double down after split is permitted.
