Golden Jaguar is a video slot game from Amaya Gaming that I play from time to time. This slot takes us back to South America and its temples and jungles, and thus makes the list of my favorite slots. The game is very bright and cheerful, so are the winnings.

Most of the games that have several bonuses are not that rewarding and after I finish playing a mini game that they offer I end up disappointed because it was time consuming and not rewarding at all.

I have played this game on couple of occasions and I realized that it is very difficult to activate the free spins round, but every time I did, it was way worth the wait. One of the most important symbols here is the golden jaguar which is the wild and it substitutes for all the other symbols except the scatter symbol. The golden mask is the scatter in this game. It is also important to point out that the wild symbol appears stacked on the reels so it would be mind blowing to get all reels filled with wilds.

The last time I played the Golden Jaguar video slot game I managed to activate the free spins only 2 times. I got 3 golden masks at the beginning of the session and I got 7 free spins. This game is so powerful because with every spin there is a random multiplier of x2, x 3, x 4, x 5 and x 8. It is enough to get good symbols and x 8 multiplier even on one spin and you can win a lot. I got around 120 euros from the free spins only.

This is definitely one of the best looking games out there. I really enjoy playing it and i can do it for a long time with out getting bored. The thing that is most attractive about this game is the stacked wilds.Getting them all over the reels can really make your day. The first time i tried it i got first three reels full of wilds and won over €40 on the smallest bet. That was within first few spins and really changed the whole game play. the game was paying out more frequent and the feature was also much easier to get.
The graphics in the game are really good and the sound effects are awesome. The pays are also very reasonable and the main goal is to get wilds. There are many game with same idea of stacked wilds, but this game gives them more and keep the played entertained.
There is only one feature in this game and that is a free spins feature. It is awesome and you get 7 free spins with a random multiplier of up to 8x. The free spins give you a real chance of winning bit and if you manage to get wilds on few reels, then expect a big pay. I was lucky few times on this feature and my biggest win was around €112. On few occasions i was around €90, but on average get around €20 to €30. Once i managed to re-trigger the free spins and that was awesome,but that happens very rare.
The game is also pretty good on higher bets, but the feature takes longer to come out. the wilds also get shy, but is you continue playing, the do start to come out again.

There is no stop button, and i really miss it. Maybe it would have been difficult to catch the feature, but i think maybe its possible to catch the wilds.
Sometimes the game completely turns off and quitting is the best choice. It happens when you play for ages, and on this game i would recommend to play for short time and leave. Over all and awesome game with a real chance of winning. My rating 8 out of 10

When I first saw Golden Jaguar on a slot list I had an idea what theme this game is built around (presuming the name relevant to story) and I almost imagined a luxury auto, car race, parade style but when I clicked on it I was dropped in a whole different world. This 50-payline slot gives an insight to the ancient Aztec culture which emblematic animal was jaguar. Fortunately, the guys at Cryptologic went along another path of creativity and I can safely say I like their way much better.

Though I very like a theme like this but I am not a fan of graphics of the symbols. I find them not too detailed or worked out and I guess some fine-tuning wouldn’t have harmed it. The background with Aztec pyramids and wonderful lagoon is much more attractive (during free spins we can see this same image at night). It not necessary means a good thing if a slot game at first sight excels only with a secondary quality.

The mentioned symbols are masks, book, vase, Aztec woman and man but Jaguar (not a coincidence they named the slot after this majestic animal) is the power figure. It’s the substitute and appears in expended form on any reel so in extremely lucky situation all reels are covered with these icons that would mean the Jackpot is won and reward of 37.500 times of line bet. It must be a fantastic picture when just one symbol can be seen in all positions.

7 free spins are awarded when 3 bonus figures land on the first, third and fifth reels. During this session a randomly selected multiplier (x2-x8) is attached to every single spin thanks to the little wheels displayed on top of the screen. Free spins can be re-triggered while playing extra game.

This slot not too feature rich but thanks to the Wild’s additional functionalities and the observations based on my experience, it very often turns up not just in main game but during the free spins giving more chances to win and sometimes it materializes and can be well rewarding game. It occurred that in 5 spins I got 2 free spins session (with €30+ and €50+ results) then more than a half an hour spent without any worth-mentioning win or extra game.

Overall, Golden Jaguar is not a bad game, but true, if I want I could find some things in every segment that are in need to fix or upgrade. This game’s entertaining effect depends solely on Wild’s appearances which are not too fortunate.
For me it’s just an ordinary game without any specialty but definitely not my list because I’m sure I can find more interesting games out there.
