Back in my earlier days of playing online games, I could play all and any games from any games provider. In those days, I was playing games from RTG, Rival and Top Games, in addition to Playtech and Microgaming. Where Top Games was concerned, there were only 2 games that became my favourite, namely Diablo 13 and Fandango's. All other games couldn't make my favourites list. Today, Top Games has changed into Pragmatic, and all the games, including Diablo 13, have been upgraded with slightly better graphics. Will the new upgraded Diablo 13 play as good as the old version? That, I was about to find out.

Looking through the paytable, everything looks the same, except for the symbols. They are still recognisable, albeit looking slightly different from how I knew them. The screenshot shown above is from the old version. The logo 'Diablo 13' is the Wild symbol, substituting for other symbols except for the Scatter and the Bonus symbols. It doesn't pay for itself, it doesn't double any wins, and it doesn't come stacked or expanded either. A totally dumb Wild symbol. Funny how this fact didn't matter at all to me many years ago, but not now. The Fairy is the Scatter symbol, also a dumb symbol, appearing only on reels 1, 3 and 5, and getting all 3 of them triggers 13 free spins without any multiplier, but more free spins can be retriggered. Not good at all, especially by today's standards.

The Old Man is the Bonus symbol, yet another dumb symbol, and getting 3 or more of these Bonus symbols on any active payline triggers the Bonus game. A very simple Bonus game it is. Just choose the left or the right chamber to win a cash prize, ranging from 30 coins up to 2250 coins, depending on the number of Bonus symbols that triggered the Bonus game. As for the symbols, the Devil pays 13,000x the line bet for 5 of them, which is marvelous, and the others pay from 1000x to 80x, all per line bet for 5 of each kind. Well, despite the good high value for the Devil symbol, all others contribute to making the paytable a low one.

The first thing that I realised, after all these years, was how low the paytable actually is. The Wild symbols don't pay, the Scatter symbols don't pay, the Bonus symbols don't pay, the Free Spins game doesn't have any multiplier, and all the other symbols couldn't contribute to any big wins, except for the Devil symbol. I couldn't get any retriggers in my most recent play on this game, whereas it would come quite often in the old Diablo 13 version. The payouts that I got were also very low, from 6x to 15x my bet amount only. Those were really disappointing! Definitely not like the old version, which used to pay me quite well. Better wins are possible, yes, but not in my time of playing it.

Diablo is one of the first games from Topgame software that I tried a long time ago. I remember I was attracted to it because it has dark theme inspired by the Devil, as Diablo means devil in spanish. I've played this game a lot of times and it is one of my favorites from them.

I like how they stick so much with the thematics till every detail. There are devil symbols, skulls, even 13 paylines and a bonus round of 13 free spins. It gives me spooky vibes and I like that. I also usually play this game when my balance is low because the bets are as small as 0.13€ per spin.

But aside the good design this game has, everything else I don't like that much. For example the free spins, they are triggered by 3 fairies on reels 1, 3 and 5. But the bad thing there is that they don't have any multiplier. That's why so far my best winings on free games haven't exceeded 60x bet. Then this game also has a pick me bonus called Dungeon bonus, a really beautiful name. In it you pick one of two dungeons and it reveals the prize. But what I like is that the result is multiplied by the coin bet, so when I recently played this game with 0.65€ bets, I won around 10€ from this bonus which for me seems like a decent result from this game. But then again- results like this don't come up often.

My favorite thing about the payouts is that this game has a wild symbol that doubles a win. It's my best friend in base game and especially in free spins, cause they don't have anything else. And because of combination of wilds I've achieved my biggest win on base game around 40x bet, it's not much but for me it seems almost impossible to hit big winnings on Topgame slots.

Overall I do like this game and I would recommend to give it a try because it looks creepy in a good way and could fit good in Halloween theme too. But I wouldn't expect much from it, my winnings have never been close to 100x bet, neither have I seen someone hitting a big win. This game could be good for wagering because of the minimum bets and because usually I get frequent but small winnings. I would give it 8 for design and 5 for payouts.

Diablo 13 is another video slot from Top Game for me to review. It was such a nice surprise to see a promising slot and at the right time. I uploaded my screenshot for you to see the bonus win, for me it is hard to talk about some game without reaching it’s bonus or some descent winnings.

This slot reminds me of Diablo the video game, and it is modern, a magic and futuristic slot, colored red all over and it’s 3D effects, make this a modern game, but I would never deposit to play this game, if I came across some ND, yes, no problem.

Another thing that is interesting, now to be honest as I am, I tried this game a few times only and never had any descent winnings. Another thing, Top Games are not my favorite and it is not just about the game. This one is a nice game, I could play it more. I reached the bonus, you know, when this spins start triggering more and more money.

For now, Diablo is a perfect match with all of his components inside. I can tell you that I like the wild symbol way too much. If you trigger 3 fairies it will start 13 free spins for you. The Dungeon Treasure bonus game is the one I have screenshots from. I love to see the black cat symbol and because I don't see letters and numbers around, I am glad to see that the video slot makers were creative and my vote for that. Symbols are paying from left to right, only scatter pays anywhere on the reel.

Diablo 13 is a game I constantly play whenever I come across some Top Game Casino. It’s the first slot game I ever played From Top Game. I remember I choose this game because of it’s name. It reminded me of Diablo the video game I played some 15 years ago.

The name of the game and the theme go very well together. Dark mystic theme with very powerfull music. I always play with the lights off and the volume high. The game design is very sophisticated and modern. The first time I saw this game I was surprised that it only had 13 paylines. I expected a game that looks so good to have at least 25 paylines. But the name of the game says it all. Almost everything about it is connected to the number 13. The symbols are well designed and you can see all of the mystic creatures here. Sorcerers, fairies, double headed dragons, devils, black cats all combined in one awesome game.

The bonus features of this game are I would say average. The free spins bonus is triggered when 3 Fairy symbols land on the first, third and fifth reel. Of course you get 13 free spins. I have to say that I rarely had some big wins on the free spins feature. The biggest win I have was I think 50 x bet. Usually I get 5 x bet maximum. On the other hand I had some 20 or 30 x bet wins during base play when I get 2 wild symbols ( haunted house ) combined with other symbols on a winning payline. The second bonus feature is the pick bonus. It is triggered when 3 or more Sorcerer symbols land on a winning payline. I have to say that I am a little disappointed by how this bonus works. I expected something more when I first got the bonus instead of an ordinary left or right pick. I think the only big win you can have on this game is if you get the jackpot which I have never seen.

I like the game because of it’s good design and sounds but the wins are rarely big. Overall I will rate it a 7 out of 10.

I consider Diablo 13 as a slot that’s easily comparable to more famous developers’ similar products from the aspect of visual appearance. This black magic, devilish themed slot is blessed with an awesome exterior. It has fantastic symbols, drawn by superb technique and imaginative illustration. Skulls, double-headed dragons, fairies, magic book, haunted house are the partners here and all of them can really add a little plus to the overall picture and effect. All in all, Diablo 13 is a top-notch construction where the player really can feel that atmosphere, mood what the game wants to represent.

I would have nothing major problem with the features here if they did their job. I usually play the game at €1.30 or rare occasion at €0.65 and the base game payouts can be said is average but the free spins is another subject. That type of extra hasn’t use any multiplier number and overall is a poor paying side game. Unfortunately, it happened not just once or twice that I could return to the main game that the free spins didn’t give back more than just 1-2 times of my total bet. In my experience there are 2 or 3 occasions where small winnings like this occurs and only the 4 or 5 entry to free spins can reward such amount that I could say about it’s acceptable.

Honestly, if I consider this is a 13-payline game I can find here lot of great attributes but somehow playing with the game I always feel it must be more generous. I know there’s the Jackpot and other top prize but they aren’t won too frequently and the other little profits are very hectic. However, the outstanding visualization is always very tempting and overall it’s a good game and it’s a shame because being a Progressive Jackpot game the slot can’t be used in practice mode just to have some fun.
