Overview of Chicken Drop Game
The Chicken Drop game is a farm-themed slot from Pragmatic Play. The slot offers a 7x7 grid filled with crops. Its graphics give an immersive experience of playing in front of a barn, with the chicken holding a sign asking for the four-leaf clover. The slot doesn’t have any paylines. Instead, you'll receive the payout when at least five of the same symbol bunch together.
Following the slot's theme, you’ll find many crops ready to harvest in symbols. You’ll find corn, mushrooms, strawberries, and some acorns you can pick up. Meanwhile, the chicken will wait for you to give it some clovers. If the watering pot lands, the chicken will reward you with its golden egg.
The Chicken Drop slot offers various bonus features, including Free Spins and multipliers. The Golden Egg is its primary offering, changing all symbols on one random 2x2 to 6x6 column to be uniform and give you a payout.
Chicken Drop RTP, Payout and Volatility
The Chicken Drop RTP is 96.50% with high volatility. You can adjust your bet with a minimum of £0.20 and a maximum of £100 per spin. The game has a maximum win of 5,000x your stake.
The two card suits, heart and spade, are the lowest-paying symbols, the acorn and mushroom are the medium payout symbols with the valuable being the corn and blueberries with the strawberries being the highest paying symbol.
Chicken Drop Graphics and Gaming Experience
The Chicken Drop slot machine uses a cartoonish drawing style akin to casual farming video games. The symbols are cute and colourful, giving a vibrant vibe of farm life. The chicken actively monitors your every move from the side with its googly eyes. When the chicken lays a golden egg, it’ll slowly descend the reels to land on a random 3x3 column. With all its animations, the game runs smoothly across platforms.
While you play, you’ll be accompanied by country music and the outdoor ambience sound. The music will grow louder as you spin, supporting the bright atmosphere well.
Chicken Drop Bonus Features
The primary offering of the Chicken Drop is the Progressive feature. When a watering can lands on the reels in the base or free game, the sign that the chicken holds will change to show the golden egg’s size. The size ranges from 2x2 to 6x6, and the chicken will start laying eggs to put on your slot reels. The symbols under the landing eggs will turn uniform, creating a payout.
When a clover symbol lands, the chicken will start giving multipliers ranging from 2x to 11x. The multipliers will come attached to the golden eggs. If more watering cans and clovers land, the multiplier or the egg’s size will increase.
Another feature is the Tumble, which will remove winning symbols from the grid, allowing symbols above them to fill the empty columns. That way, you can hit multiple successful combinations in one spin.
Chicken Drop Free Spins
The Chicken Drop game features a Bonus, Scatter, symbol beside the standard symbols. The treasure chest can trigger the Free Spins when four or more land anywhere on the grid.
Land on 4,5, or 6 of the treasure chest symbols and you will trigger 10,15, and 20 Spins, respectively. The golden egg will always drop after every spin, and you’ll receive the clover and the watering can symbols in the free games. That way, you can get the multipliers and bigger golden eggs during the Free Spins.
The Bonus symbol lands during the free game so that you can get five additional spins and there is no limit to how many Free Spins you can get.
It might be confusing to understand all the features, but you can learn more about them firsthand through the Chicken Drop slot demo.

Summary of Chicken Drop - Golden Eggs with Multipliers
Besides the gorgeous and adorable graphics, the Chicken Drop slot machine hides many exciting features. The Cluster Pay feature is fun, enhancing our winning chances despite the lack of Wilds. Although it was hard to get the watering can and have the chicken lay golden eggs, once it did, it lead to a solid win.
The Free Spins are thrilling, as the egg will lay on every spin. You’ll likely get a payout once the egg lands, and if you’ve obtained the multiplier, the payout will be significant.

Chicken Drop is one of the newest games I explored from Pragmatic Play. I hadn't heard of this game before but I saw some other players getting big wins from the free spins and the bonus feature seemed quite interesting, so in one of my recent sessions I decided to explore the game more.
When it comes to the game design, it's quite light and fun and it takes you to the countryside. There are different symbols which represent the farm and overall it feels quite like an Easter themed slot while not really being one.
Visually the game looks quite interesting and instead of regular reels, the game has a 7x7 grid. Also, in terms of the game mechanics, the game pays in clusters of 5 or more and they all need to be connected. Once you have a winning combination, the cluster tumbles and new symbols land in their place. But in all honesty, while the base game looks nice, I haven't had any big wins on it yet. But what I like is that in the base game you can also get different upgrades when landing either a clover which will add a multiplier or a watering can which lands an egg that creates a matching cluster. The goal is to get as many of the features activated at the same time but I've only had a few matching cluster features.
Then there's also a bonus round which I do find quite intriguing. In the free spins, you get to play from 10 to 20 free spins, depending on how many bonus symbols you landed. The goal in the free spins is to get the progressive features, as they don't reset. So you want to see as many clovers and watering cans as possible, as they get activated after each spin. I haven't managed to get too far in this feature, but I've had a few features where I had an egg of 3x3 or 4x4 size which would create a matching cluster. One time I had a 4x4 cluster and a multiplier activated as well, which is when I had a 150x bet win. I do like a good progressive feature and the way Pragmatic Play has designed this one is quite fun.
Overall I like this game, it's an easy to play slot, the features are unique and can be rewarding. Also I think that the progressive feature in the free spins is quite enticing as you really want to get the big matching clusters with multipliers, which aren't too easy to come by. All in all, it's a game I'll be playing in the future as so far it seems to be a decent game for small to average wins, which can be good to keep a steady balance.
