This slot is very powerful and for that reason very addictive too. It offers great gaming experience and there are many features which are not only interesting but can surprise you at times and be very rewarding.

This feature though is my favorite because it appears in the base game and it comes on regular basis too, so most of the times I forgot that it is a special features. The Blackbeard is the scatter and if you get 3 on the reels they turn into wilds and the wins can be really lucrative.

During my game sessions I had difficulties triggering the features. There are 2 main features here the Galleon feature and the Victory feature. The first one being more rewarding than the second one, and, ironically I was activating the Victory feature more often of course.

The Galleon feature has brought me the highest payout of 450 x bet for 20 free spins with x 4 multiplier. And the thing here was that most of the spins were losing at the beginning. I was kind of losing hope that I will win anything and then I won that amount during the last 6 spins I think.

The Victory feature was not that rewarding though. I was always getting 3 free spins and a win around 5 x bet.

Blackbeard’s Gold is a Pirate theme slot from Amaya and though it doesn’t provide any graphically outstanding features but it worked out enough to be exciting and amuse players. We can see a shipboard around the reels which has a whole black background colour but I think it would have been better to choose another colour or make it transparent because the majority of the symbols have a dark tone and they simply can’t prevail. Anyway, the figures are great and beautiful especially the pirate ships look very nice and we can meet with every wished illustration (pirates, swords, treasures chests, pirate flags) except my favourite at these types of games – the parrot. Overall, the slot has a pleasant appearance with very nice graphics of symbols but I guess the creators could have made it even more attractive with some little modification here and there.

Blackbeard’s Gold offers the nowadays popular 243 ways to win with the possibility of a 5000 coin top prize in normal game with 5 Treasure Chest symbols but the game’s most seductive power is in its features – the Galleon and Victory. These extras are triggered if pirate ship named Revenge appears on the first reel and either Galleon or Victory show up on the last reel. Both of them reward free spin with special circumstances and after we pick one treasure chest out of five that determines the number of free spins and the used multiplier value we can really hope the extra games’ good will. At Galleon feature we can get 10-20 spins at x 2-x 4 multiplier and 1 or 2 bonus Wilds that added to this session and may appear on the 2, 3, 4, or 5th reels. At Victory feature the number of given spins are less (3-10) but the multiplier can be up to x 5 and the Wild has expanding quality there and can cover up to 3 whole reels with Wilds.

Personally, I like the first mentioned one better because I prefer to have more spins and based on my success on them it shows the Galleon feature perhaps the more rewarding between these two alternatives and luckily it’s triggered more frequently than the other one. Generally, I usually satisfied with the results of free spins and sometimes they really can surprise me in a good way and pay back quite nice money.

Besides the Wild and Free Spins there aren’t many things to wait for while playing, maybe the Blackbeard symbols can cause some unexpected gripping moments if at least 3 of them pop up on the screen forming a good line because after paying like a normal winning combination they transform into Wilds giving a chance to other wins to be achieved.

Eventually, Blackbeard’s Gold is a very fine product and even though maybe it doesn’t live up to the every expectation of what players want to see from a ‘243’ game (maybe its top prize doesn’t reach some other very popular games’ same quality at this category) but it’s still a decent paying, entertaining slot and I don’t mind spending my time with it if I’m around an Amaya casino.
