Barnyard Boogie

Barnyard Boogie is a video slot game from Amaya Gaming. I play this game from time to time and the outcome is always different but basically I am satisfied with the game play in general.

Barnyard Boogie is a 5 reel slot and 9 pay lines. This is a very simple game that has only one bonus feature. I think that the game would be way better if there was a free spins feature. This way, when I play the game I kind of lose interest because I miss the excitement of waiting for the third scatter to activate the feature.
Instead, the Barnyard Boogie has one, kind of a mini game. To activate this feature you need the wild pig on the second and on the fourth reel. Then you have to find the pigs by selecting the objects. Once I managed to get 100 x bet from this bonus game which is the maximum as well, but other times I was not that lucky though.
The main reason I play this game is because it can be really generous during the base game. I managed to land five of a kind win in almost every session that I had so far. The other thing that I like with this game is that it always gives me a good win at the beginning of the session so it gives me a good boost and I can play the game for awhile. I did not win every time. I mean a good win is not enough; you also need a good bonus game so the slot would be nicely balanced, and this game misses that.

Anyhow, I would gladly recommend this game to anyone. It is a nice slot but do not expect to get rich instantly. If you are in for the sole game play than this can be the game for you, at least I know I play it for that reason.

This is a 9 line game that I found on InterCasino and being a big fan of Microgaming 9 line games, I just had to see what this one was about. With its childish drawings and wacky sound effect it does not really strike you as something awesome, but it did not stop me from given it a shot.

I started playing on €0.45 bet and not so long after I got the pig on second and fourth reels. The pig is wild so first I thought I got a big win, but then it actually awarded me with a bonus game. This is a pick bonus and you pick items in a barn for cash prizes. I picked something like €4, which was a great boost for my balance, and knew straight away that this is a dopey game.

Even though I won tiny on the feature, I was getting two red barns on the reels quite often and thought that three of them would give me free spins. I raised the bet to €0.90 and started chasing three barns. Just to piss me off the game was giving me two barns but the third one was nowhere near. After about €20 I finally managed to get three barns on the reels and actually screamed out in happiness. As I waited for the game to say that I won free spins, nothing happened. Just a pay and no spins? Whaaaaaat. Oh my God, yet again I get done by featureless scatters. What is the point in having them?

So after an epic fail like that I decided to quit. Doing my last couple of spins I got the pigs again and picked €13, bringing me to an overall loss of about €25.

Over all a very average game with stupid scatters that only pay. Quite small pays and boring feature. My rating 4 out of 10.
