Arthur's Quest

Arthur`s Quest is a very nice video slot game from Amaya Gaming. I really liked the graphics and the sound effects in this game but to be honest I prefer the sequel Arthur`s Quest II. This is probably a good game since they put an effort to create another similar one, but I am comparing them on how generous they were to me.

Arthur`s Quest is a 5 reels and 9 pay lines video slot game. I like the story about the King Arthur on which this slot is based so I had to play the slot at least once. There are a couple of features in this game but I was not lucky with them. I found it difficult to activate them in the first place, and even if I managed to activate them they were not very lucrative. I was very stubborn to see the features when I played this game so even if I was not winning I did not want to quit playing.
The first feature that I managed to activate was the Sword in the Stone. To activate this feature I got 3 Arthur symbols. You just need to click the swords to find a multiplier which later will be added to my win, but I found the word ‘finish’ on my second pick. What is interesting here is that if you find the word ‘finish’ on the first pick you win the maximum prize. Ironically I always find this in other games but not in this one.
Pick a spell is activated with at least 3 Merlins on the reels and the amount that he awards was not magical at all. And the last feature was Enchanted Dragonfly where you get a multiplier. Nothing special though.

Arthur`s Quest is a good game but as I said before I prefer the new and improved one and I would recommend you to do the same.

Arthur's Quest is a very simple slot containing 9 paylines and 3 bonuses. It's simple because it's not like other slots, they have cinematics, great appetizing graphics, features that level up per trigger and they even have ridiculous amount of paylines (243 ways or 1000+). Those are what we call our ideal slots.

On Arthur's Quest there are 3 simple bonuses. As it is a 9 paylines slot, each one can be triggered for 3 identical Arthurs, Merlins or Guineveres on adjacent reels. A great problem pose more for when trying to land three in a sequence. For example 2 Arthur symbols land on Reel 1 and 2 but have nothing or a different symbol on hand. Another example gets me when 2 Guinevere symbols appear on Reel 1 and 3 with no avail to Reel 2 for nothing or a symbol other than Guinevere's. That's the low down! Other bad news can be for very mini payouts especially when I bet for $0.45. The least I can win on a spin is commonly $0.10. On average I would win 3x my bets that's if I find 4 symbols.

The bonuses are very light and they do not offer a huge payouts. The first bonus I've triggered is Lady Guineveres bonus. Luckily when I saw a fountain surrounded by Dragonflies, a magic frog grabbed one Dragonfly with it's tongue to give me a max 20x multiplier. It sounds great although 20x it just $9 won for my balance. The other bonus trigger I had is Merlin's Pick feature where I would pick from 1 of 4 spells hiding a win multiplier in the book and gotten 12x. That's only a mini $5.40. The last bonus is Arthur's sword pick. It was to be expected when thinking about Arthur's story, there's always a sword.......but in the feature has more than one! I would pick up one sword at a time to get multipliers or to initially grab the sword holding a "finish"! This "Finish" icon has two meanings, it's a double edged sharpened blade! When I get this on my first pick in one of the swords then I win the max multiplier! If I get this being not my first choice then my bonus ends right away with what I collected. It's really recommended to have more than 3 identical bonus symbols in a row because everything is doubled for 4 scatters and tripled on all 5! Without scatters over 3, the bonuses will look less than good! Think about a half heated meal where half is warmed while the rest is frozen or a half baked pie...it'll be too doughy.

Small winnings even for max $0.45 bets including inside the bonuses, bonuses fighting themselves in positions on reels causing me trouble, simple graphics, never did I have any higher wins than $9 and altogether Arthur's Quest gets an adequate 6 out of 10!
