Refusing to pay citing ridiculous reasons
Hi
My issue is the casino "SLOTS.LV" refusing to pay me.
I opened my account the first week in March, made a deposit, received a bonus, gambled and won total $5110. Made a withdrawal of 2500, received an email that said, thank you for the withdrawal, it takes 72 hours to review blah blah blah. Received 2nd email that said, thank you for submitting the docs we requested, you are verified now. A few days later I get an email that said, we disabled your account and it is under review and we are suspicious of your activity. So I think ok no big deal probably standard procedure and I wait for the all clear update. some time passes, I contact them asking about my withdrawal. Then I receive this
Thanks for contacting Slots.lv Customer Service.
I understand your concern about your withdrawal and will gladly clarify.
Give us a call at 1-855-446-3770 so that we can discuss the status of your withdrawal with Reference Number as we're unable to do so via the phone.
What? call us and we will discuss your withdrawal status, but we cant do this via telephone. Again, what? call but we wont talk to you??? About a week later, towards the end of march i get an email that says, my account is still showing as under review and the casino will contact me once completed.
about 8 or 9 weeks later I still did not have an update or a reason given to me as to what or why there review is taking so long.
Last week I called the casino, I was transferred to Andrew. I don't remember his title/position with the casino, but he did say he was the highest level in the chain of command. He ran through a list of reasons why the casino would not pay someone, I do not fall into any of the categories he mentioned or that i read about on the page he directed me to. one argument he said my own money was not at stake, which is nonsensical as I made a deposit in order to play. Another argument was that if a customer makes a bet and wins big on that bet they SHOULD CONTINUE making the same bet on the same game, and if they do not continue making the same bet on the same game, that makes them a professional player. This makes no sense either, that would be foolish.
in my opinion only an idiot would gamble like that. Since when is common sense equivalent to professional player. He said the casino, actually Andrew himself, as he is the man in charge, has the "soul discretion" on who will and who wont be payed their winnings.
How nice for them to run a business where you can reach for any excuse to use their "soul discretion" to keep my money !!
