I joined Bovada on Monday, June 24 and made a deposit via the Bitcoin network and elected NOT to use any of the offered bonuses. All went great for the first couple of days. I was able to make sports bets, play some slots, and a little bit of poker. I was doing pretty well and won a few hundred dollars. I had not submitted verification at this point as I intended to play more with the funds I had in the account.
On June 29, out of the blue, I received an email stating my account was disabled and under review pending verification. I supplied the requested materials through email, as requested, and was thanked for my submission and successfully verified Friday July 5. My account remained disabled.
On Monday July 8, I sent an email requesting that my balance be transferred out to my bitcoin wallet as now my funds have been held hostage for over 2 two weeks (recall that I have not used any bonus and there is not a rollover associated with my account). I also informed them if did not receive a timely response, explanation, and release of my funds that I would be filing a complain with their egaming license holder and online watchdogs.
I received a response on Wed, July 10 stating that their team was still reviewing my account and I would receive an explanation via email.
It is now two weeks later, my account is still disabled, and I have received no funds and no explanation.
I now worry that Bovada is no only in the business of stealing money, but also some sort of identity fraud. I sent my identification in with all of my details minus my state identification number (which is standard procedure for every other online casino I've played at) and they would not accept it. So, I resent the images with all of the details exposed to complete verification--an action I have come to regret.
