The King is a 10-payline video slot running on the Endorphina software platform. The game’s design evokes medieval times, while the most vital symbols are the wild card in the form of a Crown, which doubles wins, and the scatter, featured by a Lion symbol. Players can try the slot on this page free of charge or visit any of the Endorphina casinos found in the listings to play the game for real money.

In order to start their journey to the Middle Ages, players need to regulate their bet. The coin value, ranging from 0.01 to 1, is adjusted by pushing the coin-shaped button in the upper left corner. Furthermore, players can alter their total wager by pressing the up and down arrows in the lower left corner. The “Spin” button initiates the game, while the “Auto” button allows players to play the game a number of times without any interruption.

To augment their winnings, players can click the “Take Risk” button. As the dealer reveals their card, the player chooses one of the 4 face-down cards. If the player’s card is higher than the dealer’s, the amount is increased. If it is lower, the amount is lost and the gamble feature is over. The round can be terminated at any time by selecting the “Take Win” button, thus saving one’s winnings.

If 3 or more scatters appear on the reels, 15 Free Games will be triggered. During the Free Games, prizes are multiplied by 3. Free Games can be re-triggered.

5 Crown symbols will unlock the Jackpot of 9000 coins.

Top reviews from our players

There are reviews that are written easily and reviews that are written hard. My hunch is that this review will be part of those reviews that are written hard. In particular, it is difficult to write a review for a weak slot where I do not have much to say. And here for the “King” I do not really have much to say in the favor of the game. For all Endorphina slots I noticed the same thing: there are either very good slots, either very weak games. So far I have not played an average slot here.

This Endorphina slot is weak, almost in all its aspects. Maybe just the graphics are better with that red velvet appearance and its symbols drawn from royalty. Otherwise there is nothing to praise, and no matter how much I would like to commend this slot, hardly I could find positive aspects. Maybe just I should say that the story here somehow resembles with that from Avalon, but is different in some aspects. This slot is one of the many Endorphina slots with 10 paylines. All these 10 paylines slots are terrible simple and are missing the thrill of a great story. This will probably be the last Endorphina slot having 10 paylines that I play because until now all these games were almost identical.

Here although the wins are beautiful, they are given rarely about every 5-10 spins and thus they do not suffice. In many cases the only symbols that bring a consistent win are the 2 Scatters (2 lions). At 3 Scatters one enters 15 Free Games and the earnings from here are enough just if one gambles them and wins. Otherwise the loss remains. From the paytable you find why the losses are so consistent: all the symbols pay at minimum, i.e. 2-15 cents, and just one symbol pays big 25 Euro (4 of them) or 40 Euro (5 of them). Perhaps this is the type of slot that keeps taking and at one moment will give these huge payouts, but mien about 200 spins I have not had a huge win like this. I went off with a loss of 15 Euro and I vowed to avoid these Endorphina slots with 10 paylines.

There are many negative aspects that make the game weak. Many of them have been presented above because I could not make an exact distinction between pros and cons here. But to repeat: Free Games are hard triggered, one loses too much, the wins are minimal, the action slot is missing, etc.
