Before you start spinning these fruity reels, you should set your betting range the way it suits your needs the best. When you click on an arrow next to "Win" you will be able to set the coin denomination which ranges from 0.25 to 100. By clicking on "Auto Spin" the reels will turn without interruption for a chosen number of times, whereas "Spin" will set the reels in motion once.
The Wild symbol is Star, and it substitutes for all the symbols in the game except for the Coin Stack symbol and the Coin symbol. When you land one or more Wild symbols on any non-locked reels, a respin will be triggered. The non-locked reels on which any Wild appears will respin by exactly one symbol position.
When fill Coin Stack appears on the middle reel, the Free Spins feature will be triggered and you will be awarded with 6 free spins. The Coin Stack can appear only on middle reel.
During Free spins, there Coin symbol can appear which is a collectable symbol. These can appear on reels 2, 3 and 4. At the end of the feature, if any instances are found on these reels, they will be collected. There is a counter above the reel which moves by one if a symbol is found on that reel. When 3 Coins have been collected from a single reel, that reel will be filled with Wild symbols and locked in place for the duration of the Free Spins feature.

I haven't been all that keen on recent Push Gaming slots I have tried, but Star Fall at least looks better to me than the majority of their other releases. I like this kind of classic meets modern game which uses fruit machine symbols and styling whilst incorporating features such as falling wilds, free spins and a large number of paylines. The thing is, once you get into video slots its very difficult to go back to the older type of game so this is a nice compromise for me!
All of the symbols are stacked on the reels which gives the opportunity to land a win on a large number of paylines simultaneously. Infact, you can even fill the screen with a single symbol if you are extremely lucky, which would of course give you a five of a kind hit on all 25 pay lines at once. I haven't hit anything like that on this game myself, and infact I've rarely had such a thing happen on any slot whatsoever, but its nice to know that its a possibility.
Like the similarly named Starburst from NetEnt, the maximum jackpot spin in Star Fall returns just 500x your stake. Whilst that is usually much too low for a game to interest me, I did notice that medium sized wins occur much more frequently whilst spinning this machine than in lots of others.
Better yet, the RTP is very close to 97% as well and I definitely found this game a lot more fun than Starburst.
The feature felt quite hard to trigger to me whilst I was playing the game to write this review. Unlike most games there are no scatter symbols required, instead you will need to catch a full stack of the star coins on the middle reel in order to trigger the free spins. This sounds simple enough but it really doesn't seem to happen very often and even when it does you only receive a measly six free spins!
The most gutting part about this is that the free spins do actually have some neat features, you collect coins which appear on the middle three reels which fills up a set of meters located above the reels and when one of these becomes full it will turn the corresponding reel into a stack of wilds for the rest of your free spins.... which obviously isn't going to be many as you only had six to start with and you are very unlikely to fill even one meter before your fourth spin!
The falling wilds feature looked like it might be good, and it is actually, but the wilds seem extremely rare in this game and so it is very difficult to get multiple respins in a row.
