Easter Island is the remake/sequel of the popular easter island from Yggdrasil gaming. I must admit this slot has some good new features compare to the first one with colossal wild symbols, re-spins, and many more. I guess this slot was released for the Easter weekend, as you know providers create seasonal as well as slots related to certain holidays and events like Christmas etc.

Set in a little town in the middle of nowhere, on the reels you will find spades, diamonds, hearts, and clubs. The higher paying symbol range is a variety of creatures like snakes, foxes, and a red bird. The game has a wild symbol that is not active in the base game, however, during re-spins, you will find mega 2x2 wild symbols. The game starts with 6 reels and 25 pay lines up to 55 paylines if you manage to trigger re-spins with a 6 of a kind win.

The game is pretty straightforward with no free spins feature, but you can trigger re-spins and this is where most of the action takes place. Re-spins can be activated when you hit a winning combination of 3 or more connected symbols. If you hit a 3 of a kind, you trigger a normal free spin with a transformed symbol, where others within the same low or high range are removed to give you chances to win big.

4, 5, or 6 of a kind wins trigger 2x2, 3x3, or 4x4 colossal symbols during the re-spins and at the same time, the reels expand with all transformed symbols. This is your chance to hit it big and trust me wilds are pretty active on the reels during these re-spins.

The maximum win from this slot is x2500 your total stake, not sure how it's possible since you only get 1 re-spins and cannot be re-triggered in the current spin. Maybe a full screen of red birds on 55 pay lines.

I had average wins like between 50 up to 125x wins, but nothing significant, I used this slot to complete the wager as it feels to me like another starburst, however, I like it. This is one of the slots I find less boring from Yggdrasil as you know how boring their slots can get.
