It is indeed a very nice surprise for me to see that Pragmatic Play has since moved forward with very nice graphics for their games, coming to par with the best looking current online games. The level of graphics reminds me of one game from Play'nGo, '7 Sins', with very nicely presented and sexy woman main characters, just as how the Dragon Queen in Dragon Kingdom looks. Never mind about the dragons. No lipstick or makeup can ever change their looks. Hahaha.

The logo 'Dragon Kingdom' is the Wild symbol, paying a very low 16x the total bet for getting 5 of them. It substitutes for other symbols except the Scatter symbol, it doesn't double any wins with it, but is stacked on all reels, same as for all the other symbols too except the Scatter symbol. The Archway is the Scatter symbol, a dumb symbol, because it doesn't pay anything for itself, but getting 3 or more of these Scatters trigger 5 free spins with 5 options of free spins with various multiplier mode to choose from. Getting 3 or more Scatters during the free spins add 3 more free spins. Argh! Why only 5 free spins, and whatever can 5 free spins do if they don't guarantee a win in every spin, like in what 'Pimped' or 'Holiday Season' does? Getting 3 more free spins with every 3 Scatters just isn't good enough either! As for the symbols in the game, the Dragon Queen pays 4x, the Brown Dragon pays 2x, the Green Dragon pays 1.2x, the Blue Dragon pays 1x, and the others pay from 0.6x to 0.52x, all per total bet for getting 5 of each kind. Sheesh! For a 25 paylines game, this paytable is definitely the lowest of them all! Ridiculously low values, only suitable for games with 243 paylines or more!

Playing Dragon Kingdom for the very first time, proved everything that I had said about the game. The paytable values couldn’t provide any decent good wins, only mediocre ones, the Free Spins games ended with very poor payouts, and only those in the base game paid slightly better, with payouts of up to 45x the total bet amount. Even so, this 45x bet win was achieved by getting 4 full reels of the Brown Dragon symbols in the base game. All 5 full reels of the Brown Dragon (15-of-a-kind) would have paid only 50x the total bet amount! That is totally ridiculously low! Worse still, the one and only Free Spins game that I could get, paid out an unbelievable 5x my total bet amount! What the argh! I have to say that design wise I was very happy with what they've done, there were dragon symbols and a lady, all of them looked sophisticated and colorful, so it's definitely an eye candy.

So I played this game for over an hour. I started off with a 65$ balance and played with minimum bets only. I managed to get many free spins bonus rounds, which is the only bonus feature this game offers. The free spins are quite interesting, as you get to have 5 free spins and you need to choose one of the dragon symbols. Different dragons have different multipliers. I only chose the blue dragon that gave me 5x multiplier and with it I managed to get my highest win of the session-80x bet. But I have to say I was expecting more as all of the reels, except two symbols, were covered with the blue dragons, so I was hoping for at least 150x bet win. I didn't get any higher winnings than that, but I have to say that this game is a decent option for keeping steady balace, as it gives frequent "big wins" of 10x bet, but on base game, when I had all reels covered with the blue dragon, except for one symbol, I only had a 20x bet win, which was very disappointing.

All in all I do think that this is a decent game and should be tried, it has nice design and average payouts. But I definitely don't think that it would bring mega wins.
