Editor’s View
There was a lot I liked about Cash Lounge; however, there are also several elements that hold it back. If, like me, you enjoy prediction markets and are prone to a good bet builder, then Cash Lounge definitely has a lot to offer, with the latter being particularly impressive.
However, the site does prioritise online casino players over bettors when it comes to promotions, and the lack of responsible gambling features means that you should approach the site with caution. I break all of this down in more detail throughout this Cash Lounge review.
General Information and Safety Details About Cash Lounge
Cash Lounge is a relatively new online sports betting site that launched in 2024. The sportsbook is owned and operated by Buscarar SRL. The Anjouan Gaming Board regulates the site under the license number ALSI-202412042-FI2.
While it is always good to see a site licensed, bettors should be aware that this licence is not as secure as those issued by more respected regulators such as the UKGC or the MGA. It also means that the site will not be accessible in a lot of popular markets.
Cash Lounge Payments and Withdrawals
I was pleased with the payment methods available at Cash Lounge. The site only accepts fiat currencies, with Visa/Mastercard, MiFinity, Neteller, Skill, and Paysafecard all being accepted. As a fiat bettor myself, these options were enough for me; however, if you are a crypto bettor, then Cash Lounge will not be for you.
The site has a minimum deposit of €10 and a minimum withdrawal of €20. While higher withdrawals than deposits are something I always find frustrating, these are both reasonable and what you would expect from an online sportsbook.
The maximum you can withdraw daily from the site is €1,000, with a €5,000 weekly cap.
Cash Lounge’s Best Offers
The Cash Lounge sign-up offer provides new sports bettors with up to €450 with their first deposit. Outside of this, there is a weekly cashback bonus, which is handy for sports bettors. Unfortunately, the site is limited to these, with the bulk of the promotions targeting their casino customers.
Betting Features Available at Cash Lounge
The betting features at Cash Lounge are one of the site’s more attractive elements, with the bet builder feature significantly enhancing the experience.
- In-play betting: The in-play betting section at Cash Lounge is one of the site’s best elements. It has an intuitive interface, and I found the odds to update extremely quickly, often doing so more quickly than more established sportsbooks during my tests for this Cash Lounge review.
- Live streaming: Unfortunately, the live streaming options at Cash Lounge are fairly limited. The site does have a strong focus on esports, though, and you can find a lot of live streams for these events.
- Event Builder: Event Builder is Cash Lounge’s bet builder feature. I enjoyed placing bets with this, with the feature covering a range of sports and offering good markets. I used it to build a bet for Wimbledon, with the site offering competitive odds and a good range of markets, especially in the later stages of the tournaments.
Most Popular Sports at Cash Lounge
Unfortunately, one area where I felt Cash Lounge was behind other new online sports betting sites was its sports selection. Football was by far the most popular sport on the site, with over 500 markets available.
Outside of this, basketball, tennis, and ice hockey were the most popular, each having between 100 and 200 markets each. However, the lack of markets for horse racing and some other top sports left the site feeling a little sparse.
One area where it did offer a lot of markets was esports. I was impressed with the markets for games like Counter-Strike 2 and League of Legends, with each having over 50 markets available. I was also impressed with the number of virtual sports offerings to choose from.
A major selling point for the site is its predictions platform. This allows punters to predict the outcome of upcoming events from sports, politics, entertainment, and more. While the pool size for many of these markets is quite limited, I still enjoyed taking a look at what was on offer and placing some future predictions.
Cash Lounge Customer Service and User Experience
The overall user experience at Cash Lounge is positive. The site is easy to use, and I found registering for a Cash Lounge account to be a smooth process.
While I was able to open an account with no checks, I needed to verify my details before I was able to deposit, which is always a positive step from both a responsible gambling and anti-money-laundering perspective.
I tested the Cash Lounge mobile site for this review and was pleased with the results. The live-scoring section, which, as I mentioned, is particularly quick to update, definitely benefits from a touch interface.
I also tested out the customer support by reaching out to an agent on live chat. The team were quick to respond to my queries, providing detailed answers to the questions I had around their verification process.
Cash Lounge’s Commitment to Responsible Gambling
I found the responsible gambling features at Cash Lounge to be disappointing. The site has a very basic responsible gambling page that feels more like a box-ticking exercise than anything else.
It provides some simple questions customers can ask to analyse their own gambling behaviour, and tells them they can self-exclude by reaching out to the customer support team.
