I am filing a complaint regarding the removal of 716.35 from my Slots of Vegas account after receiving a weekly cashback promotion for 5415. The promotion I received clearly stated that cashback had a 40x playthrough requirement on Slots and Keno and a 60x playthrough requirement on Table Games and a maximum cashout limit of 1000.
I completed the required playthrough and my balance reached approximately 824.69. After I completed the playthrough the casino removed 716.35 from my balance and left approximately 10834 as my withdrawable balance.
Slots of Vegas later told me that the weekly cashback actually has a 2x maximum cashout and that 54.15 multiplied by 2 equals approximately 108.30. They called the removal a coupon reversal or bonus balance conversion.
I dispute this because the specific promotion that was sent directly to me clearly stated a maximum cashout of 1000. I did not receive a promotion stating that my maximum cashout would be limited to 2 times my cashback.
Several Slots of Vegas representatives acknowledged that the 1000 wording was actually included in the promotion I received. They told me that it was a mistake or typo made by their marketing department.
I was then told that management would review my complaint. After waiting patiently I was informed that the marketing team decided that they would not honor the 1000 amount because it was a mistake.
I believe this issue should be independently reviewed because I relied on the actual promotion that Slots of Vegas sent to me. The promotion specifically stated a 1000 maximum cashout and my balance was below 1000 when the money was removed.
I also want to point out that after I complained about the promotion the wording displayed on my account was changed to show the 2x maximum cashout language. I have retained the original promotion showing the 1000 maximum cashout.
I also did not knowingly gamble away the 716.35 after it was removed. I did not realize that the money had been removed from my balance while I was playing. I continued playing the balance that was displayed to me and only realized what had happened after the money was gone.
I am asking for an independent review of the original promotion that was sent to me the terms that applied when the cashback was issued the 716.35 balance adjustment and the statements made by Slots of Vegas representatives acknowledging that the 1000 maximum cashout appeared in my promotion.
I am requesting that the 716.35 removed from my account be restored because I played under a promotion that specifically advertised a 1000 maximum cashout and I relied on the terms that were actually presented to me.
I can provide the original promotional email screenshots account information and the complete live chat conversations with Slots of Vegas.
