BC.Game Casino - They confiscate winnings and I never heard anything back

On 30th July I placed an MLB bet which won fairly. Then a couple days later I wanted to request a withdrawal but it was denied. So I went into the live chat and asked why, and I was told that I needed to intentionally lose my balance until only the deposited amount was left, and then I could withdraw my deposit amount only. I was shocked because I have never had such a request from a sportsbook before so I thought this must have been a miscommunication due to poor English language. So I sent an email about it, and I got a standard reply "We have forwarded your account issue to our relevant team, and it is under review. We will get back to you with further updates once our team completes the required process and checks." But after that, I never heard anything back and it's now 2,5 months further.

Then, a couple days further, because of course I had refused to lose my winnings of the sports bet intentionally (how can you even lose funds intentionally? what if you win by accident?), I saw that BC.game suddenly had decided to take away funds from my account. The sports bet, which was fairly won and paid out was now suddenly void, about 5 days after the game was finished. Then I got in contact with a manager from BC.game on Telegram and he kept insisting "wrong odds were offered on this game". But the odds offered were perfectly normal in line with all other sportsbooks and it's not like it was a dodgy unknown league, it was the world famous MLB. He then blocked me on Telegram so I could not even chat further with him.

The strange thing also is that I placed the exact same bet on another sportsbook (500.casino) at the exact same moment and same odds (they use the same odds provider as BC.game), because the maximum stake allowed by BC.game (80mbtc) was not high enough for my liking.

And guess what? That bet on 500.casino was paid out as won and never void! This means that there was nothing wrong with the odds and that the void is not on the side of the odds provider, but BC.game voided the bet themselves after I didn't want to lose the won funds intentionally!

I even sent an email to 500.casino asking if they were sure nothing was wrong with the bet, and offered them to take back my winnings if there was indeed something wrong. But they were honest and said all was fine and I didn't need to pay them back my winnings. How much more proof do you want?

And then, the most shocking thing came. On Bitcointalk forum I decided to open a scam accusation about this case.

The representative of BC.game in there swiftly responded and apologized for everything. He looked to take my case very seriously and even said "I have to look into the matter as this is the first I am hearing about it. If everything you posted, including the screenshots are real then I assure you that we will make this right. Thank you for bringing this to our attention." So I expected things to finally be resolved and that I would get my 88mbtc of voided winnings credited back in no time, but then BC.game went offline for 3 weeks, and when he came back he only told me via PM very short answers such as "case is already resolved" when it's not and "you have already been paid" when all I was paid was my deposit back. I still to this date have not received the 88mbtc sportsbook winnings.

Thank you for submitting my compaint. However I would like to rectify one thing....the disputed amount shows as $4200 but this is not correct....its about 88mbtc which is more like $2400. So I guess this wrong amount was a typo. Please correct it, thanks!

Hello,

We have responded to this complaint already on several other platforms.

As informed, the cancellation of your bet and the removal of winnings funds was due to incorrect odds displayed. As per our Terms of Service, we have the right to void bets in such circumstances. Our full Terms & Conditions can be found here - https://bc.game/help/terms-sports

We reviewed your account and deducted the previously settled amount of 0.168 BTC, and left the original stake of 0.08 BTC in your wallet.

In light of the situation, we implemented a temporary restriction on your withdrawal permissions. This decision was made due to the suspicion of a betting strategy that may have taken advantage of this odds discrepancy. To lift this restriction, we asked you to complete identity verification on our website. This verification was successfully completed in August, and your account has remained open ever since.

Best Regards

Your odds provider did not void the bet. You voided the bet yourself, 5 days after the original bet was settled as won. If an odds provider voids a bet, they do this immediately after the game finishes, at least within a couple hours.
As I showed in my attached screenshots, I placed the exact same bet (same time, same odds) with a different sportsbook (500.casino) who uses the same odds provider as you do. And there the bet was not void, also not days later.
I then went ahead and emailed 500.casino to double check if they maybe made a mistake and offered them that I pay them back my winnings if the bet should have been void. Their answer (see screenshot attached) said that they double checked with their odds provider and the bet and odds were totally correct.

You have apparently flagged me as a smart bettor and limited me immediately after 1 bet. That is fine, but you cannot void winnings of a totally normal bet.

Next to this. your representative on the Bitcointalk forum literally said this: "Dear OP,
This situation is very odd and from what I have gathered from your post here, we owe you an apology. This is not by any means a standard response our CS should give. I have to look into the matter as this is the first I am hearing about it. If everything you posted, including the screenshots are real then I assure you that we will make this right. Thank you for bringing this to our attention."

"If everything you posted, including the screenshots are real then I assure you that we will make this right"
So, are my screenshots not real? Did I lie about anything?
All of my screenshots are real so you need to live up to your promise to "make this right".

Good.
If you finally see I am right here and credit me the missing 88mbtc winnings from this void bet, then I consider this case closed. I will withdraw my funds and you will never hear from me again.

If you still think the void was fair, we need the following details from your odds provider Betby and we need very precise answers:
- why was the bet not void immediately after the game, why did it take around 5 days to void it?
- why was the exact same bet on their other client (500.casino) not void, even to this date 3 months later it's still showing up as a won bet in my account there
- why did they Betby say everything was allright with my 500.casino bet when the very helpful 500.casino staff explicitly asked on my behalf if perhaps something was wrong with the bet?
- if the odds offered were wrong, what should the correct odds have been instead?
- if the odds offered were wrong, for how long of a period were the wrong odds offered?
- can Betby show us several other screenshots of the same bets being void across their clients platforms?
- can Betby show us their internal message to all of their client sportsbooks stating that there were wrong odds offered on that game? Because I assume every time there is such a situation there will be a report about it.

It's in your own interest to be open about all of this so all viewers of Askgamblers and Bitcointalk forum can get a justified view of the situation here to draw their own conclusions. From a well respected casino/sportsbook we expect fair solutions and/or open communication. Thank you.

Hello,

So after reaching out to the sportsbook provider with all info we found out that user has been limited on 500 casino as well as on BC.GAME.

If the 500 casino chose not to cancel the bet, that decision is entirely within their discretion.

We, however, opted to cancel the bet because the player had been identified as potentially exploiting unfavourable odds and had placed identical bets across various casinos. Our decision to cancel the bet aligns with the terms and conditions outlined in our sports betting policy.

Our terms can be read on our website and also i have mentioned few of them here below for reference:

3.1 Sportsbook platform reserves the right to cancel any bet made on obviously “bad” odds, switched odds or a bet made after an event has started.

3.3 Sportsbook platform reserves the right to refuse, restrict, cancel or limit any bet.

3.26 In case of suspicion of unfair activity, Sportsbook platform reserves the right to void any bet or any part of it, thus making the questionable bet invalid (in these cases, the payout is made with odds of “1”) or suspend any withdrawals for up to 31 calendar days.

3.27 Clients are allowed to bet only as individuals, group bets are not allowed. Repeated bets on the same results / winners from the same or different customers may subsequently be declared invalid. Even after the official result of the competition / athletes is already known, Sportsbook platform may consider the indicated bets invalid if it considers that the Clients act in collusion or as a syndicate, or the bets considered were made by one or more Clients within a short period of time. The betting company also has the right to refuse to accept bets or to count already made bets as invalid if they are made from different game accounts from the same IP address
