confiscated my deposit after closing my account
I am submitting a complaint regarding the confiscation of my deposit by BiggerZ.
I deposited $800 using my own funds. I received a separate sports freebet, which I lost. I then used my deposited funds to place a sports bet at odds of 1.22. The bet won and I requested a withdrawal.
Shortly afterwards, I lost access to my BiggerZ account and contacted live chat.
BiggerZ informed me that my account had been permanently closed due to an alleged “material breach” of its Terms and Conditions. I asked them to clarify what would happen to my original deposit and to identify the contractual basis for retaining it.
BiggerZ subsequently gave me the following written response:
“We are unable to process any refunds for your deposit.”
They also stated that the decision was “final and non-negotiable” and refused to disclose the specific findings or investigation details.
My complaint is specifically about my original deposited funds. I am not asking for the freebet, and I am not asking for any winnings generated from the freebet.
I understand that a casino may have contractual grounds to close an account. However, I am asking AskGamblers to review whether BiggerZ has a valid contractual basis for retaining my original deposited funds.
I specifically asked BiggerZ to provide the Terms and Conditions clause that permits them to confiscate my deposited funds, but they refused to provide the relevant provision and stated that no further discussion would be possible.
I can provide screenshots of:
- the $800 deposit;
- the sports bet at odds of 1.22;
- the winning bet;
- the withdrawal request showing the exact amount requested;
- the freebet and its loss;
- the complete BiggerZ live-chat conversation;
- BiggerZ's written confirmation that they will not refund my deposit.
Requested resolution:
I am requesting the return of my original deposited funds, specifically the amount that was in my account and subject to my withdrawal request.
I am not requesting any bonus winnings or promotional funds.
