Altair Affiliates - Unpaid affiliate commission and unreachable affiliate manager

RESOLVED

We have confirmed 13713.5 EUR affiliate commission unpaid from February with Altair Affiliates. We tried to reach out to our affiliate manager Andrei about this issue but we cannot connect with him for three weeks now. We reached out to their main Telegram profile as well where they initially replied then started ghosting as again. They are unresponsive there as well for two weeks.

Today I tried to reach out to their main Telegram profile from my personal profile to see if they reply to people or not and I received an answer rather quickly so the ghosting is seemingly intentional to delay or dodge payments.

I find their attitude towards this unfair and I'm seeking for a full payment for the previous period as soon as possible.

Dear AskGamblers community,

Following a thorough investigation by our risk department, we are here to expose the fraudulent activity of the affiliate who made this complaint.

First of all, I see that it's a current pattern for him, having other complaints made on Askgamblers for other fellow affiliate programs who felt in this scheme.

Partner started working with us in February, saying that he's doing SEO traffic, after we agreed on the deal he started delivering traffic, which already had a high withdrawal rate from the start but we acted in good faith and thought that is too early to judge, it can happen to the best of us, but our fraud team decided to investigate more.

Doing some research for the affiliate in question, they found a Facebook Ad, in the native language of the campaign we were running stating the following:
"We’ll pay you  if you click on this ad and send a message!”
We’ll pay for your first spin.
We’re aware that there are many unreliable sites circulating on the internet – this situation bothers us too. Instead of us talking, hear the experiences of our community!”
About Spinmester:

A group operating for nearly a year
1,600 satisfied members
100+ five-star Google reviews from real people
Full guarantee that payouts are made with our partners
More than 35,000,000 forints paid out in rewards for our group members since launch
Write to us!
The offer is only valid for new members."

Basically, the traffic they are selling as SEO, it's coming from a community who are paid an amount of money to deposit to online casinos in order to trigger the CPA, then withdrawing pretty much all the funds. Which already is against our T&C on multiple levels, being a clear case of CPA Abuse and incentivised traffic.

As a result of this investigation, his account has been permanently suspended, and all revenue voided. Unfortunately, a portion of the payment had already been processed before this activity was identified and halted. Therefore, the amount of €7,973.50 has been paid which should consist in the final payment issued from us.

We've provided screenshot proof of his Facebook Ads on email to AskGamblers representative. And we also want to take this forum to sent a firm warning to all other operators to not associate with him!

Best regards,
Altair Affiliates Team

Dear AskGamblers team,

As one of the largest communities in the country, we have multiple streams of traffic we can use to channel new users to a partner's website. Alongside SEO, we have the largest email database in the country, we own Twitch channels and so on.

Naturally, we also run Facebook Ads, in which we use several different schemes and tactics to get people to contact us and join our communities. We always pre-agree on terms with every advertiser we work with. Some advertisers want Facebook traffic, some advertiser website only, some schemes, some crossbrand, some mix, etc.

Altair Affiliates received only pure website traffic from us and currently tries to cut ties and save money simply by pointing at the fact that we are running different sources as well. All these sources can be found on our website and we even advertise these platforms to new partners so they can be informed about what can they chose from when they start to work with us.

Their representative also received a brief document from us displaying all the traffic sources we have, which after they decided to go with website traffic - which we agreed to and delivered on without changes. They are simply using this information to try to cast a bad shadow on us, without any proof that we ever delivered them users from other sources.

Having multiple traffic sources is not a crime and not against any Terms and Conditions - it is simply the best strategy for affiliates especially in volatile markets where sites are being ISP-blocked every day.

Their Chief Commercial Officer is native in the local language so I highy doubt we could've advertise motivated messages for months with their brand without their team noticing.

To summarize:
- The fact that we have multiple traffic sources does not prove that the advertiser received any traffic from a source we haven't pre-agreed on. We are happy to provide outbound statistics from the website which they can match to the traffic they received.
- The advertiser received more deposits from the users month after month than what they had to pay us which would make very little sense if their claim would be true and this would be a case of CPA-fraud. Above-CPA player value with each brand they have... so in my opinion the claim makes no sense.
