Spinions Beach Party is 5 reels and 25 pay-lines video slot powered by Quickspin software provider. This slot is inspired with the famous Minions, although the slot does not reside entirely on it. Similar yellow creatures are on the beach and they are waiting for you. The reels are transparent and they are set against the ocean shore backdrop. Before you join these crazy beach party, you should adjust your betting range. By clicking on "Total Bet" button you can set the coins denomination which ranges from 0.10 to 100. By clicking on "Autoplay" you will set the reels turning automatically without interruption for a chosen number of times. Just above autoplay button you will see "Spin" button which will set the reels in motion.
Spinion Wild symbol in the game can substitute for all the symbols in the game except for the Scatter. Wild can form winning combos both on its own and when substituting in a win. Spinions are always wild, and when 2 or more are present in a single spin, the Spinions Sticky Wild will be activated.
Bonus Scatter symbol can appear in the base game on the reels 1, 3 and 5. If you land 3 or more bonus symbols you will trigger Free Spins feature and you will be awarded with 10 spins. During the feature Spinion Wilds are Sticky for the duration of free spins. The feature cannot be retriggered.

Not sure who a slot game based on the Minions - children characters - is meant to be aimed at, but I have to say I had fun playing this game and was only left disappointed when I realized the games maximum win is just 500x your bet, although that is of course just for a single spin and if you were to get anywhere close to it during the sticky wild free spins you'd certainly end up with much more than that from all the spins combined.
There's no question this is a gorgeous looking game, the transparent reels look great and the background and symbols are beautiful and colorful. The QuickSpin user interface is just the same as always but that's okay as I think it works really well, simple but effective and I like the fact the paytable, full game rules and even the play history are all available from within the same coherent menu system which I think works a little than other providers implementations.
Spinions Beach Party makes good use of sticky wilds which are one of my favourite game mechanics. During the regular game you need two wilds on screen to trigger a sticky wild re-spin, and more free re-spins are awarded as long as at least one Spinion lands on screen during each re-spin. It doesn't happen too often and when it does getting more than two re-spins is extremely rare indeed, but things are a little better in the free spins. I'm not sure if different reel strips are used but I suspect that's the case because wilds definitely seem to drop more often and they stick around for the duration of the free spins round too.
Bonus symbols appearing on just three reels instead of all five is getting more and more common now and I'm getting more and more bothered about finding out what kind of effect this has on your chances of actually catching the bonus round. Right now it doesn't bother me hugely, certainly not in this game anyway, but what does bother me is the fact it's also getting correspondingly less common to actually get any kind of pay for the scatter symbols too and that's something I really miss when so many games used to award hundreds or even thousands of times your stake for catching five scatters.
