Jewel Quest Riches

Honestly speaking, I was totally unfamiliar with the name Old Skool Studios before, so when I saw this Jewel Quest Riches game from them, I wanted to give it a try, just to get to know these guys a little bit for a start. Well, of all the games that I chose from their list, I had to pick a game that plays with 5 rows, and with a clusters-pay format too. Damn! I don’t like such games, but since I’ve already picked it out, I simply went ahead nevertheless.

3 same connected symbols, either horizontally or vertically, makes a win, and with each win, the win multiplier increases by 1x, but only up to 12x maximum. What? Only 12x? Yeah, well, this game is designed by Old Skool Studios, so expect the game to be old-school-ish too! Hahaha. But that’s not the worst part – the whole game plays at a real leisurely pace! Each spin would casually spins along, taking its sweet time to stop, but there’s no way to speed it up - no ‘quick spin’, or ‘quick stop’, or ‘turbo mode’ even! And I was going like “WTF maaan…this is killing me!” Yeah, you know what I mean, right?

Okay, getting 3 Lion symbols would award a Bonus Jackpot Game, either 8, 10 or 12 moves. Yep, I mean moves, not free spins! And the moves are not automatic either – you need to pick which 2 symbols to swap positions to make one move, and so there’s 8, 10 or 12 swaps altogether! Nowadays, when we are already so used to fast-spinning and fast-moving automatic spins, playing one manual pick per move can really be so boring! Oh gees, I simply cannot describe how I felt playing this game for the first time – it was simply horrible!

What about the Jackpot? Yeah, yeah, there is indeed a jackpot prize to be won, but playing this game for the very first time, it has the Jackpot Bonus Prize set at 6x the starting bet – that’s a whopping 0.60 Jackpot prize! Yeah, that’s a huge “WTF” from me! Imagine the amount of time and money you need to spend to see anything worth mentioning as a jackpot prize! Aah, I see you’re also cursing with the same words like me now, hahaha.

In short, simply because I don’t want to bore you, but this game sucks big time! Avoid playing it at all cost, or face the consequences at your own risks! Hehehe.
