Fruitoids is video slot with nice design, theme. It has 25 paylines and it is creation of Yggdrasil Gaming software provider. I like big symbols into the game with under water theme. There are many coral reefs and sea plants. The music is not so good, I wish it would be more relaxing. But I can not say anything bad about graphics.

The game has freezing symbols mode. This is the only special mode into this game, without any bonus game or free spins feature. If you get three or more identical symbols on the reels, the line freezes and the game start automatically again. The freezing symbols still remain in the same position, and if the same symbol appears in the next spin, the game continues until there are no symbols left freezing. In every reel there are different multiplier. The multiplier is equal to the number of columns filled.

I played this game some months ago, but i did not like it very much. I had a few winnings around 20€ on 0,5€ bets. I do not like that you have to fulfilled the whole reel to get better multiplier. While i was playing i had no luck with multipliers, it is very hard to get the best x5 multiplier from this game. I miss here some bonus game or something like this. I like sticky wild symbols with re-spins but I do not like payouts here very much. I like some other games from Yggdrasil Gaming software more than this one.

I will rate this game with 7 stars. I enjoy while i was playing even if I had no big luck on it. The graphics animations are really cool here, I like to play games like this one. It could be much better video slot with some bonus game, I think.

The payouts should be a little better, maybe with some higher multipliers for 4 and 5 reel.

I would simply like the work of Yggdrasil, always trying to innovate and entertain at the maximum with each of its slots, and just that is what can be seen in its slot "Fruitoids", a pretty easy game to play, fast spins, but with a concept that to me is totally new, that is, I had not played before another slot freezing both, symbols that are already forming fragments of paylines and isolated equal symbols, to give the opportunity to get more matching symbols during series of re-spins to allow larger profits; the closest thing I had seen in other slots, is to freeze only the symbols already involved in the formation of fragments of paylines, but not symbols isolated, and this new version is much more powerful.

One of the most remarkable things in "Fruitoids" is the aesthetic that can be seen in its design, with beautiful shimmering images, just as the other elements that are part of the decor, such as buttons and background. The elegance of this slot also extends to animations and effects that occur every time the reels stop and when a hit is done.

The format of this slot is 3 x 5 reels, 25 paylines and bet levels ranging from $ 0.0032 to $ 2 per line, the lower limit I have ever seen in a slot, as far as I remember, and what I think is quite useful if the player wishes to adopt some strategy that involves increases and decreases in the bet value. Prices in the paytable not seem to be sufficiently large, but bear in mind that the rules that are subject the re-spins above, enable in high degree, the formation of larger lines and additionally on multiple active paylines simultaneously, which almost certainly leads to the production of big wins more often. In my play sessions, it was not uncommon to obtain profits higher than 500x my total bet, and I think that although many and long streaks occur in this game without getting significant winnings, a better understanding of this slot system can certainly contribute greatly to the development of our own strategies that allow us to get more out of this fun game.

If you’re looking for something else other than the usual Microgaming, Playtech or Net Entertainment games, then I can warmly recommend Yggdrasil Gaming. Their games feel like a breath of fresh air and definitely bring something else to the table. The first time I’ve experienced their games was a couple of months ago when I received some free spins from Mr Green.

After checking out on which game the free spins were featured, I found myself playing Fruitoids. I wasn’t sure what to think of it since I never had played that game before. My 25 free spins ended up being an enjoyable adventure. Fruitoids features 5-reels and 25-paylines and is decorated with all sorts of exotic fruit type of symbols.

This in combination with the adventurous background music made it extremely addicting. You know when gambling is fun? When you lost money on a game, but still can say that you had a great time afterwards. Well this happened twice to me while playing Fruitoids.

First with the free spins at Mr Green which gave me lots of playtime and eventually resulted in me losing everything. Now let’s discuss the game in depth. Fruitoids can be played with a minimum bet of 25 cents. Every time a winning combination appears on the reels, those respective symbols freeze up and you then get another re-spin, and this keeps going until there are no wins.

The goal is to fill up the whole screen with the same symbol. In addition, Fruitoids also has a multiplier up to 5x. For every reel you fill up a multiplier gets added. I also played this game with my own money on 50 cent bets and managed to get a full screen of a lower paying symbol that ended up awarding me 100x bet size.

By the looks of it 500x bet size is the max that can be won. Overall it left me with a positive impression and lots of playtime, even though I lost my bankroll eventually.

The thing I didn't like much is that the multipliers are quite difficult to trigger. You need to fill the reels up starting with the first, then second etc. I would also have liked to see a higher potential win for the best paying symbols.

Well, the “Fruitoids” slot from Yggdrasil is not the perfection itself (as is “Magic Mushrooms”), but also it is not a weak slot: I would say on short that it deserves an 8/10 rank. The main feature of the slot is that it is playing very easily and very quickly and always when you play is like you just want to give another spin.

In what it concerns the graphics and the music, the slot is as successful as all the other Yggdrasil slots, and now after I played 4 or 5 slots here I can say that (in my opinion) these games are even better than the best Microgaming slots. Regarding the wins, the payouts for “3 or 4 of a kind” are somewhat small (less than the total bet) but because of the way this slot is played, the total wins are always big and always will have at least 5-7 winning lines.

The theme of the slot are the exotic fruits and fruits like these I can say that I have never met before: very attractive like you want to taste each of them (except for the coconuts I do not know yet what fruits are the others). This slot has no Free Spins and no Bonus game but there is here a special rule: when 3 symbols line up on a payline they are hold and a respin happens. Other similar symbols are again hold in place and the respins continue until there are no more identical symbols. One can thus have the same symbol on all 5 reels that fills the entire screen! And if this rule was not still enough there is a second beautiful rule: if the 5 reels are filled in from left to right in order a multiplier is advanced with one unit for each filled reel. How would it be to have 5 reels with the same symbol and a 3x multiplier (say)? I guess something almost perfect (see the Screen Shot attached the above).

The slot does not receive the maximum rating just because the payouts are relatively small (otherwise one would have won too much), and can be compared with the payouts per line of the old NetEnt slots. But even so, a Big Win is here 10-25 Euros, and when you play with a bet of 25 cents/25 paylines this amount is huge. In total after 300 spins I lost just 10 Euro.

As I said the slot is playing easily, it is fast and nice and invites you to the game. An almost very good slot, having a rating (I repeat) of 8/10.

The payouts per winning line and combination are too small compared to other Yggdrasil games.
