Texas Tea Slot IGT (WagerWorks)

Texas Tea Review - Editor’s Impressions

Head to the Lone Star State in IGT’s Texas Tea slots game that shows the wealth and beauty associated with the Wild West state. Before you embark on your journey, read our complete Texas Tea slot review to know the game’s itinerary!

The Texas Tea slot machine brings something fresh to the industry. We rarely see a slot providing players with more than one Scatter in our online slots reviews. Despite not having bonus features like Free Spins, we liked that Texas Tea focuses on enhancing players’ payouts. It presents a new thrill, making it exciting to play.

Overview of Texas Tea Game

As one of the IGT slots, Texas Tea serves high-quality graphics. The style resembles older cartoon designs, showing symbols associated with Texas. Texas Tea focuses on the powerhouses in the Texas oil industry, and you’ll notice it from the bonus features and symbols. You’ll play the symbols on the standard 5x3 reels with nine paylines.

The flowers act as the lowest-paying symbols, including blue, orange, cacti, and yellow roses. They’re also the only symbols that start paying from three matches. The Longhorn Steer, Cadillac, and private jet, and armadillo, are the next higher paying symbols and the Texas Tea logo is the highest-paying symbol. All symbols except the flowers and the Texas Tea logo pay from two matches. The Texas Tea logo will give a payout even when only one lands on the reels.

Despite the lack of Wilds, Texas Tea offers two Scatters: the Texas Ted and the oil derrick. The two Scatters give different bonuses and can reward considerable payouts.

Texas Tea RTP, Payout and Volatility

Texas Tea RTP is 97.35% with low volatility, offering a Max Win 10,000x, which may be lower depending on the limit at UK online casinos.

Texas Tea Graphics and Gaming Experience

The Texas Tea game turns the states into cute cartoons. The layout looks like a big screen in the middle of two towers, with a vast grass field behind the reels. There aren’t any complicated decorations, but the symbols are intricately drawn. The animals, Cadillac, and flowers will remind you of classic cartoon movies, adding more enjoyment to the game.

The map picking is also a fun visual experience, as you’ll get to unlock the regions in the Lone Star State as you play.

Texas Tea Bonus Features

The Texas Tea slot machine has two bonus games and two Scatters are the symbols that trigger them. The Texas Ted will be the first Scatter to get you into one of the bonus features. Getting three or more of the Texas Ted Scatter will trigger the Oil Dividend bonus, which offers many multipliers.

When the feature starts, you’ll receive a check from Texas Ted that gives you a multiplier of 3x, 8x, 15x, and 25x if you land three of them. If you have four Texas Ted Scatters on your board, you’ll get a multiplier of 8x, 10x, 25x, 40x, and 50x your bet. Landing five Texas Ted Scatters will give you the highest bonus from the check, which can be 20x, 30x, 50x, 75x, and 100x your bet.

Texas Tea Big Oil Derrick

The other Scatter is the oil derrick symbol that will take you around the great state of Texas. Three oil derricks will activate the Big Oil Derrick bonus features, presenting the state map over the reels. You can unlock the regions based on the number of oil derricks that started the bonus game. The more Scatters that trigger the feature, the more areas you can open. There are nine regions on the map.

When selecting a region, you’ll watch oil spurting from the map. Your credits will then rise alongside the oil spurts, and the number of spurts will be random, depending on the region unlocked. If you open more than one region, the bonus credits will be accumulated before the feature ends. You can win up to 495x your bet from the Big Oil Derrick bonus.

It was an exciting experience when we tried it firsthand, so we recommend you try the Texas Tea slot demo.

Summary of Texas Tea- Traveling Around The States

The Texas Tea game graphics look a little dated and closer to classic online slots, but they’re high in quality and are still fun to look at. One of the strongest points that the slot has, in our opinion, is the Big Oil Derrick feature, which provides a new kind of mechanism that can compete with slots with bonus rounds

The lack of Wilds and Free Spins might throw some players off, but the game is worth checking out. The two bonuses are generous in the multipliers offered.

We suggest you try the Texas Tea slot demo to experience the game and all it offers before playing for real money.

Great slot, the only one I can consistently clear wagering requirements on.In my experience the slot pays higher than the 97.35% RTP advertised. Slot hits bonus rounds more frequently than any other slot I know. Car/cow and a few more symbols pay for only 2 on a paid line. 1 Texas Tea symbol anywhere on 1st real pays. I was lucky enough to hit 5 Texas Tea symbols on a paid line yesterday paying 10000 x line bet.

Texas Tea is a video slot game from IGT that I loved from the very beginning. I had a great first session and I have played the slot couple of times later. My last session was not that lucrative but I just love the Texas vibe this game has. It is very bright and cheerful so sometimes I forget that the game is eating my money.

Texas Tea is a 5 reels and 9 pay lines video slot game. There are 2 bonus features and most of the times I find them easy to activate. The last time I played the slot I got the Big Oil Bonus feature. I got 3 Oil Derrick symbols. This feature is interesting where you try to pump up oil by picking locations. The first time I activated the feature I got only 7 euros. It all depends how many symbols activated the feature here. 3 bonus symbols award between 5 and 100 coins, 4 bonus symbols award between 5 and 200 coins and 5 symbols award between 5 and 495 coins. I never won anything big from this feature though.

The Texas Tea is a low variance video slot game so that means there are many small wins throughout the game. I love this slot because it is so easy to activate the features and my balance never drops drastically. This is a game that I choose when I have colossal wagering requirements or when I want to play a game for a while not worrying that I will lose my money fast.

I would highly recommend this game to anyone who is into low variance slots. If you are looking for some quick cash then this might not be the right game for you. I would definitely play the Texas Tea video slot game in the near future.

When I first glance at the game's name, Texas Tea, I was thinking it must be about tea, either the drink or the crop, but tea in Texas? Hmm, I've never heard of any tea plantation over in Texas. Heck, Texans don't even drink much of tea, certainly not like the British, or even Asians. So I loaded up the game and tried it out in fun mode first, to get a feel of this new game from IGT.

Texas Tea itself is the highest paying symbol, at 10,000x the line bet for 5 of them, but Texas Tea is not a Wild symbol. In fact, this game is devoid of any Wild symbol, so chances of winning are kept to the absolute bare minimum, with no doubling of any wins, no substitution of other symbols to create new wins, no additional wins from getting Scatters or Bonus symbols, no Free Spins game, no randomly activated special features, and so in just two words...NO FUN! Why IGT even bothered to come out with such a boring game, I guess only they know why! Texas Ted is the Scatter symbol, with no payout of any kind for getting them, but getting 3 or more Scatters would award an Oil Dividend Bonus game. An Oil Derrick is the Bonus symbol, without any payout of any kind either for getting them, but only to award an Oil Derrick Bonus game. So, IGT is offering this Texas Tea game to us players, a game that has no Wilds, no payouts for scatter symbols, no payouts for bonus symbols, no free spins or respins of any kind, and to put it very bluntly, no thrills of any kind! If you are thinking that maybe the two Bonus games could provide some fun, hmm, you couldn't be more wrong!

The Oil Dividend Bonus game takes you into Texas Ted's office and he issues a cheque for the dividends earned from those oil derricks. It's that simple! The dividends are nothing more than poor payouts of around 3x - 15x the total bet, even though the maximum amount is set at 100x. Yeah, right! The Oil Derrick Bonus game lets you set out 3 oil derricks in different locations, then you wait and see how much each oil derrick can bring in. Again, very poor payouts of 5x - 20x the total bet amount. The only way to get a big win is to get 5 symbols of Texas Tea on a payline, which would pay 10,000x the line bet, or 1,111x the total bet. Everything else simply pay peanuts!

Playing Texas Tea in the fun mode was fairly good, with frequent Bonus games coming in regularly. Playing it in real money mode saw my credits went down all the way without even seeing once an upturn in my credits balance! Typically of all games, never ever trust what you get when playing in fun mode! It has been totally hyped up to play so good, to make you play with your real money, and stand to lose it all in the end! All new games behave this way, as I have tested and seen for myself. Believe me or not, at your own risks!
