You can play Fairies Forest for free right here on this page, or for real money by going to any of the NextGen Gaming casinos in our index.
To start a game of Fairies Forest, choose your base bet size using the - and + buttons under “Bet”. Then, if you do not want to play all 25 lines, adjust them using the buttons under “Lines”. Push “Spin” to begin, or use “Autoplay” to spin continuously for a certain number of rounds.
During the main Fairies Forest game, your goal is to match up the colorful birds, flowers, and other symbols from the leftmost reel to the right along the active paylines. The Fairy symbol is very helpful in scoring line wins. She may appear on reels 2, 3, or 4 and expand across the reel. The Fairy will then substitute for any potential winning combinations she intersects.
The Fairies Forest bonus round is triggered with 3 or more scattered Sparkling Forest symbols. During the free games, the Fairy is even more valuable since she comes with a 5x multiplier!

Fairies, why can't I hardly win on any fairies-themed game except for that particular one game from Playtech, Fairy Magic? I have played numerous of other fairies games, including Pixies of the Forest, a very popular game to many players, yet they were never good to me. I was hoping this Fairies Forest game from NextGen could break the ice, but apparently and evidently, not. The game plays with 25 paylines and has nice cool pastel colours in its graphics and presentation, which I do like, except for everything else.
The Fairy is the Wild symbol in the game, appearing only on reels 2, 3 and 4, substituting for other symbols except the Scatter symbol, and expands into a Wild Reel with any wins with it. Sadly though, the Wild symbol doesn't pay anything for itself, neither does it double any wins with it in the base game, except during the free spins, whereby all wins with it are multiplied by 5x. The Forest is the Scatter symbol, paying 100x the total bet for 5 of them, but only when appearing consecutively on the reels, not as per usual scattered positions. I don't like this change from the norm. Makes the Scatters harder to create wins. Getting 3 or more of them awards 12 free spins, with all wins with the Wild symbol multiplied by 5x. Normal wins are not multiplied. Argh! Yet another aspect of the game that I don't quite like, even though the Free Spins game can be retriggered. As for the other symbols, the Bird pays a nice 5000x, the Lamp pays 1000x, the Mushroom pays 500x, the Flower pays 500x too, and the rest pay from 250x to 100x, all per line bet for getting 5 of each kind. An average to low paytable. Not so good.
Apparently, Fairies Forest is quite popular with many players, for one reason or another, except for me. My few games on it were all rather disappointing, without getting any nice good wins from it, not even decent ones. The payouts in the base game were not exciting at all, without being multiplied by the expanding Wild Reel, affording only small and mediocre wins at best. The Free Spins games proved to be even worse for me, because I got a zero payout from one of the games, plus a few under 10x total bet wins, and one of 12x total bet win. Out of each 12 free spins, only 1 or 2 spins would pay something, which is totally ridiculous! Very disappointing payouts from the Free Spins games indeed, and poor payouts from the base game too. Definitely not my kind of games.
