INR deposit successful but not usable
Dear AskGamblers Support,
I am raising a formal complaint against Stake.com due to an unresolved issue involving a deposit made through INR (Indian Rupees).
Issue Summary:
On 8th July 2025, I deposited ₹500 INR to my Stake account using UPI via Paytm. The amount was successfully deducted from my bank account and credited to my Stake account (Transaction ID: 2809529032, UTR: 518922229295).
However, when I attempted to use the funds to place bets on the casino, I was unable to proceed. Upon contacting Stake support, I was informed that INR transactions are no longer supported due to restrictions from their third-party payment provider.
Concerns:
• No warning or notice was provided during the deposit process about INR being unusable.
• My friend’s Stake account still works with INR transactions, which proves this is not a region-wide issue but rather account-specific.
• Stake has offered no option for refund, withdrawal, or reversal of the funds.
• My ₹500 INR is now stuck in the account with no way to use or retrieve it.
What I Am Requesting:
• Either a full refund of the ₹500 INR back to my original payment method OR
• Immediate removal of the INR restriction from my Stake account
Account and Transaction Details:
• Stake Username: < sent to the casino >
• Transaction ID: 2809529032
• UTR Number: 518922229295
• Deposit Date & Time: 8th July 2025, 5:17 PM
• Payment Method: UPI via Paytm
• Deposit Amount: ₹500 INR
Despite reaching out to Stake’s customer support, the issue remains unresolved. I respectfully request AskGamblers to assist in getting my money refunded or my account unlocked for INR use.
Thank you for your help.
