Account closed not sure why

Hello, last days my account on this casino got closed (without a valid reason). This is the short story. So I had around $2000 in the account and after I tried to check the account I noticed that I had $300 (the amount deposited by me) I received something by mail but without too many details or a valid reason. I tried to contact the support people, but again, without too many details. Maybe here I can get more and more precise details related to the reason for the disappearance of the money from the account. After I withdrew the $300 from the account, the account was closed as you can see in the picture.

Leon bet, if you decide to answer me, please don't do it like you did on email vaguely and without a precise reason with arguments and proofs.

Dear all,

Following a careful review and consideration of all the information, details and/or proof presented by the parties during the complaint process, the AskGamblers Complaint Team reached the conclusion that Leon Bet Casino management acted in accordance with their Terms and Conditions.

Based on the abovementioned information, the AskGamblers Complaint Team considers this case resolved and it is now officially closed. While we understand this might not be the outcome expected by the complainant, we would like to remind you that, in case of a disagreement with our decision, further assistance on the matter could be requested from the relevant regulatory body and/or appointed ADR entity.

You are acusing me on doing this "players' collusion" (which I literally googled because I had no idea what this meant) and now please provide me the evidences (if they really exist). Because I didn't made anything wrong on my account on your website. I was betting on e-sports football. That's all.

Can you send me the evidences too?

Dear AskGamblers team,

I've received your email with the conformation that the evidence we've provided is sufficient to prove a violation of our Terms, specifically, players' collusion. As you know, we've already taken action by closing the account and forfeiting the winnings. The deposited sum has been returned to the customer.

According to p.6.2 of our Terms:
6.2 Fraud includes, without limitation: paying with stolen or someone else’s bank cards or vouchers, using compromised e-wallet access, player collusion, false registration data, document forgery, and influencing the outcome of a sporting event through affiliation with the sports event organiser or possession of information from athletes, agents, coaches, referees, team managers, or other event participants.

Thank you for your assistance in resolving this case.

Best regards,
Alexander

Violation of Responsible Gambling Policy

My experience with Leon Bet initially started well. I won a small amount playing Blackjack and was able to make successful withdrawals. A few hours later, I decided to give Leon Bet another try, as I enjoy the interface and software. Although my session started poorly, I made an additional deposit, and shortly after, my balance rose dramatically—from €1,000 to approximately €5,000.

This was a substantial and unexpected win for me. However, I realized I had been betting higher than intended due to my habit of playing in Swedish Krona, where 1,000 SEK equals roughly €100. As a precaution, I decided to cool off and take control of the situation.

Given my previous experience with delayed withdrawals and the risk of funds being returned to play, I took what I believed to be a responsible step: I set a daily wagering limit of €1 via the Responsible Gambling tools in my account.

Just a few minutes later, I regretted setting the limit that low, as I wanted to place a bet on an upcoming football match scheduled for the following Sunday. I immediately consulted Leon Bet’s Terms and Conditions, particularly the Responsible Gambling section, and assumed that if I increased or removed the wagering limit right away, the 24-hour cooling-off period would apply. This expectation is clearly aligned with their own policy:

"Once set, wagering limits can be increased or lifted after a 24-hour period."

Source: https://leon.bet/en-se/responsible-gambling

To my surprise and disappointment, the system allowed me to override the €1 wagering limit immediately and continue playing—without any 24-hour delay.

This is not only deeply unfair, but also contradicts Leon Bet’s own stated policies on responsible gambling. The tool designed to help users cool off failed to enforce the rules it was supposed to uphold.

Again, per their own Responsible Gambling section:

"The customer account has the functionality to set daily, weekly, and monthly wagering limits... Once set, wagering limits can be increased or lifted after a 24-hour period."

Source: https://leon.bet/en-se/responsible-gambling

Additionally, Leon Bet states:

"We are committed to promoting responsible gambling and raising awareness about gambling addiction and prevention methods. To support our customers in gambling responsibly... we provide...

Customer-Driven Deposit Limits

Customer-Driven Wagering Limits"

Source: https://leon.bet/en-se/responsible-gambling

This commitment is further reinforced by AskGamblers’ own review of Leon Bet:

"Players at Leon Bet Casino can set deposit and wagering limits on a daily, weekly or monthly basis. They can change them at any point, but an increase happens after a 24-hour waiting period."

Source: https://www.askgamblers.com/online-casinos/reviews/leon-bet-casino

None of this aligns with what actually happened to me. Despite setting a strict wagering limit, I was allowed to continue playing without restriction. I ended up with a final balance of €5,976.50—money I believe I should never have been allowed to wager once the limit was set.

I would like to emphasize that this was not a temporary bug. I have screen recordings showing that the limit can still be changed without the 24-hour cooling-off period being enforced:

While I cannot retrieve a history of my Responsible Gambling settings directly from my account, Leon Bet should have access to this data if they take their responsibilities seriously.

In my view, Leon Bet’s failure to enforce its Responsible Gambling policy allowed me to continue playing during a moment when I had explicitly chosen to stop. This undermines both their stated commitments and regulatory obligations, and potentially breaches the Anjouan Gaming License requirements.

This issue has taken significant emotional energy to address. I genuinely believe that had the system functioned as promised, I would not have lost those funds. Leon Bet should also consider that highlighting and fixing this flaw is in their best interest, as it helps protect other users and supports their claim to be a responsible operator.

Resolution Sought:

I respectfully request a refund of the amount lost after the wagering limit was supposed to take effect: €5,976.50.

Addressing this complaint appropriately will not only resolve my case, but also reinforce Leon Bet’s reputation as a trustworthy and responsible platform.

Withholding First Deposit indefinitely
I made a first time deposit in the amount of $500 CAD or 364.59 USDT on May-30-2024 06:47:23 AM UTC. You can find the transaction on etherscan here: https://etherscan.io/tx/0x9324689017db68e4426a0e31ac352be060ae9b54463311e77dc3921bfad6a8e7. Note the deposit was sent from Stake as I withdrew from Stake onto this casino directly, which as far as I am aware is allowed and is something I have done many times before with other casinos with no problems whatsoever.

The transaction was confirmed within minutes and showed up as pending on the Leon casino transactions page with the correct amount, meaning the original deposit address given to me was correct, otherwise they wouldn't know what the amount was. Unfortunately I did not take a screenshot of this as I didn't think it was an issue at the time. After 30 minutes the deposit still has not been credited, and I reached out to support. I also discovered that when I click deposit again I was given a completely different deposit address than the one I sent to, but as mentioned the original deposit address had to have been correct since Leon showed the correct amount as pending on their end, meaning they detected it within their system. Support told me to wait 2 hours, and I did. After 2 hours I discovered the transaction that was pending before no longer shows up as pending and is completely gone from their deposits page.

I was told to wait once again, and after a while support asked me to give an ERC20 address so they could return the funds to me. This was provided to them within minutes, but now they are putting me on hold indefinitely with no ETA. They give automated responses that state "technical difficulties" and ask me to "wait patiently" every time I reach out to them.

Everything that has transpired looks very suspicious on my end, and thus I am submitted a complaint here in the hopes of a resolution. Attached are screenshots of the conversation I had with support. Just one thing to note, the $10 CAD deposit they mentioned is not a deposit but a code I found on their instagram page. I redeemed the code while waiting for the deposit because I was bored and wanted to play. I screenshotted the instagram post as well.

15 days to verify withdrawals restricted 170000 USD stuck in pending

Hey guys!

Just want to start off by saying I really don’t want to be writing this complaint, I really enjoy Leon Casino, I was recommended by a friend who spoke highly of it so I tried it and after 4 years of online gambling, I finally hit big, just, unfortunately, it had to be as a newcomer to this casino so I understand the delay in payment to a certain extent.

However, on April 2nd I won $4000 and had to verify my ID which took minutes, and then that was verified. I then won more and got to $14,000 and they started to ask for bank statements to confirm I made the deposits (WHICH IS TOTALLY FAIR)

So I submitted my March statement which did have deposits to Leon but not my most recent ones that won me the winnings, so they made me wait until April 9th when my newest statement was released. And between the 3rd and 9th I got my balance up to $170,000 by the grace of god and sheer luck, CRAZY!!! Keep in mind my balance was up and down and I at least wagered over 100k to get there….so then they asked for a selfie photo containing my face, my ID, my phone open to show my account details, the day's date, and LEON.

Once I submitted all that I received an email on April 10th saying they needed to do a “standard technical check-up stipulated by the Terms and Conditions of LEON for all users.” .. again fair enough, they said it would take 1-3 days in some cases longer.

I've reached out multiple times and just received the same bot answer, and seeing multiple complaints across this platform and others, I’m starting to get concerned.

Again I understand making sure everything is in order, especially for such a high amount, but I’m not sure if they are just making me wait in hopes I play down my money but that’s how it’s feeling.

I requested a video call to help the process but just got told the same bot response.

So I’m hoping by submitting this complaint I can achieve a little more transparency and we can get this ball rolling, I'd like to give them a high rating from my overall experience playing on their site because aside from this hassle I genuinely think they have a great platform for gamblers.

I'm not sure when they started the wait time “timer” but I have not been able to withdraw since April 3rd they canceled my initial withdrawal requests until my bank statement was sent in on the 9th

And all my current requests started on April 10th so if it’s still technically too soon to complain then feel free to let me know. The only restrictions on my account are withdrawals, I can still deposit and play.

Just to verify none of these winnings were accumulated from bonus. I don’t like to play with bonus money.

Thanks guys and hope to hear back soon!

Best regards
