Blocked my account with 550k dollars

My situation is as follows. I don’t even know where to begin… with the fact that for the past two weeks I have barely slept at all and they have left a very strong mark on my life and on how a normal day unfolds for me now, or with how everything actually happened and how they are mocking me — and I’m sure other clients as well.

I am a very large sports bettor, and I’ve had an account at Cloudbet for several years. For quite a while, I stopped betting in crypto and only bet in FIAT with bookmakers in my country. Recently, about six months ago, I started betting in crypto again.

A very good friend of mine is also a client and VIP player at Cloudbet, with over $30 million wagered. His account was blocked for a ridiculous and very strange reason — once again, a total abuse in his case as well. Someone tried to hack his account and then entered the chat and started writing lies in his name, and Cloudbet blocked his account with $100,000 in it. For him, that amount didn’t mean much, because he had started wagering millions of dollars monthly.

When his account was temporarily closed for investigation, he still believed that this company was serious, because he didn’t imagine that what I am about to explain happened to me would follow (otherwise he would have advised me not to play here). He used crypto exclusively for betting; all of his crypto funds were strictly for betting, and he had started betting mostly on Cloudbet.

When his account was blocked without being given a clear timeframe for when it would be reopened, he proposed that I buy some of his crypto and pay him in fiat cash, in our local currency. It was beneficial for him to exchange his money, since he could no longer use it for deposits on Cloudbet and didn’t want to be tempted to gamble it at casino sites (because on other sites he couldn’t place the large sports bets he usually makes — only Cloudbet allowed him to bet such large amounts — so having crypto in his wallet would have tempted him to use it for slots at online casinos).

He offered me an advantageous price for the crypto, and I bought crypto from him. He sent me the funds, and I planned to use them afterward. I decided to bet on Cloudbet.

And from here, my story begins.

The entire betting session lasted 2 or 3 days.

I started by depositing amounts like $20k, $30k, $50k. I ended up losing approximately $200,000 in 1–2 days. After that, I recovered and eventually reached $550,000 in my account balance.

I made some withdrawals at different times — first around $200,000, then another $100,000. After the first $200,000 remained pending for almost 20 hours without being approved, and after I withdrew another $100,000 (bringing the total pending withdrawals to $300,000), Cloudbet initially rejected the withdrawals, and a few dozen minutes later, they blocked my account.

I want to state very clearly that I have extensive knowledge about how this industry works, as well as very important friends in this field and influential people on social media with hundreds of thousands of views on posts about betting and abusive bookmakers.

Why do I mention this? First of all, to make it clear that I know how things work. I am not a betting abuser. I did not place anything speculative or suspicious. Everything was 100% fair betting — clean betting.

These people simply did not want to pay me, and first they blocked the account, and only afterward did they start looking for a reason to justify it. Almost three weeks have passed and they still have not given me any concrete answer, only that the investigation can take up to six months.

Some people on chat tell me it will take exactly six months, others say up to six months — there is a total lack of transparency and coordination within their team. Nothing is clear, because so far the case is simply pending and they don’t care.

Regarding the bets: 99% of my bets were on tennis. Mostly on Davis Cup and Tier 1 tournaments — ATP and WTA — plus a few on Challenger tournaments.

A batch of 20–30 total bets placed over 2–3 days could not possibly require more than 1–2 days of investigation from the moment the review started. It is practically impossible to justify a timeframe of up to six months to finalize an investigation (which in reality does not even exist). It is impossible that three weeks pass without restoring access to my account and funds.

One important thing to mention is that I invested over $200,000. It is unacceptable and inadmissible to decide to invest over $200,000 in a bookmaker, having calculations and money management in place, depositing with the understanding that you can withdraw at any time if necessary, and then have your funds blocked for up to six months. Where have you ever seen something like this?

To invest $200,000 and then be unable to access your own money for six months, while support staff effectively mock you.

I also have an account manager. He simply does not do his job. He is online only 2–3 hours per day at most, and only 2 days per week. That practically means he is almost nonexistent.

The problem is that chat support redirects me to the account manager; they say they cannot help and that I must wait up to six months. The account manager does not respond, and when he does, his tone makes it seem as if I should feel bothersome for asking for help — as if I am the last person on earth and as if $550k being blocked is no big deal.

They cannot invoke any reason, not even proxy usage, because sometimes their site does not function properly from my country — it runs very slowly. Kevin, their VIP administrator and my account manager, asked me months ago from which country I was playing, and I explained where I was playing from and that I sometimes use a proxy because the site does not function properly with my internet provider. He had nothing to say against it and did not indicate it was a problem, so I do not expect Cloudbet to invoke such reasons.

I am experiencing health problems because of the stress this situation has created — the frustration of how I am being treated and the injustice that exists with no one able to hold them accountable.

I am absolutely convinced that such situations happen behind the scenes with many people and that they commit abuses.

It is simply impossible that after three weeks they have not unlocked my account and granted access to the $550,000 won fairly.

I have repeatedly told them, both in chat and on Telegram to my account manager, that I will make this case public everywhere on the internet — and when I say everywhere, I truly mean everywhere, because I have the ability to take this case even to TV news and make it go viral. A desperate person who is denied access to $550k after initially losing $200k is willing to do anything — capable of anything — when holding the truth and being forced to endure abuse. Unfortunately, they do not realize this, or they do not care, or they are not aware of how far a client can go in such a situation. If until now other clients have said the same but taken no action, they may not realize that there might be someone who will not accept this treatment and will actually take serious measures and be willing to do whatever it takes for justice.

I have read Cloudbet’s response and I would like to provide the following clarifications and explanations.

Mihai (Cloudbet user “< username removed >”) and I are friends. Very good friends, very close. We know each other in real life and we talk every day. Mihai also has a betting account on Cloudbet with $100,000 blocked, and in this post I will need to explain his situation as well in order to connect the two cases so that everything makes sense, because I know his situation very well from our daily discussions.

So Mihai is my friend, and Mihai has his account blocked with $100,000, an account with $30 million turnover and considerable losses.

Mihai’s account was blocked because some individuals contacted him offering to buy his account, but Mihai never wanted to sell it and never wanted to rent it either. This never happened. (I would like to have a direct conversation with someone from Cloudbet or AskGamblers, a three-way discussion between me, Mihai and you, to explain this once again, because the information transmitted by me and Mihai to our Cloudbet VIP manager Kevin was one thing, while Cloudbet is now saying completely different things.)

Mihai never wanted to sell his account and his account was never sold or rented. Mihai was harassed and threatened to do so. Mihai has already made a post explaining his case in more detail here on your forum, and when you publish it you will be able to see the history of his account.

Cloudbet says there is a relationship between my wallet and Mihai’s wallet. From the very first day when the account was blocked and Kevin called both me and Mihai, without him even asking, we told him that we are friends and that we transfer money between each other. We did not hide this. A good part of the money that I deposited into my account came from Mihai, and I explained this to Kevin (my VIP manager) from the very beginning.

Since Mihai’s account was blocked and he was betting only on Cloudbet, keeping his money in crypto specifically for betting there, he ended up with crypto funds that he could not use elsewhere. He bets large amounts and on other betting sites he did not have limits that allowed him to bet the way he wanted. Because of that he offered to sell me crypto and receive fiat from me in exchange.

I AM A VERY LARGE PLAYER and I can prove it. I bet tens of thousands of euros daily, but I had taken a break from Cloudbet because I was no longer betting in crypto, only in fiat on betting sites in my own country, where I also generate huge turnover.

Mihai offered me a good price for his crypto. Since his Cloudbet account was blocked and he was left with crypto funds without practical use, he wanted to convert them to fiat, and knowing that I move large amounts of money and that I have liquidity, he offered to sell the crypto to me at a good price.

That is how part of Mihai’s crypto funds ended up with me. And I explained this to Kevin from the very first second, even before Cloudbet truly started their investigation, because I never tried to hide this and I do not see anything wrong with it.

They say that the betting strategy changed and became professional level, implying that Mihai was playing on the account.

How can it be professional if Mihai’s account is losing money? How is that professional if he is losing money? That is just a simple logical point.

But the truth is the following: I was the one betting. No one has ever had access to my account except me.

I told Kevin without hiding anything that I log in from my phone using my Romanian IP, and when I play from my laptop I connect using a proxy with an IP from another country, usually Finland, because with my laptop internet provider the Cloudbet website loads extremely poorly and it is almost impossible for me to use the website without a proxy or VPN.

So regarding the betting volume, I was already betting large amounts daily. I am a big player. I simply was not betting on Cloudbet anymore. Because I received a good offer to buy crypto, I bought crypto from Mihai and started betting the same amounts I usually bet on betting sites in my country, only this time on Cloudbet using crypto. WHAT IS THE PROBLEM?

Regarding the change in betting strategy:

Yes, I consulted with Mihai during the period when I was betting. I told Kevin this from the very first second WITHOUT HIM EVEN ASKING, because from the moment they closed the account I already understood the direction in which everything would go and what kind of pretext they would try to use. Knowing there was a connection between our crypto addresses, I knew this would be the excuse they would use as an alibi not to pay.

Let me ask you something: do you realize what kind of precedent you are creating?

Do you realize that if two Cloudbet users who do not even know each other happen to follow the same sports prediction group and both bet for three days on the matches posted there, Cloudbet could then suspend both accounts claiming similar activity and a supposed third party?

Mihai is my friend and I have every right to discuss tennis matches with him and receive advice from him or exchange opinions.

In what world do we live where these reasons can be invoked as solid grounds to close an account with $550,000?

Mihai never sold his account and never rented it. He explained this repeatedly to Kevin.

We will go to court and do whatever is necessary to obtain justice because the truth is on our side and we know exactly what we did and what we did not do. And we did nothing that Cloudbet is accusing us of.

Yes, we sent money to each other.

Yes, we shared betting ideas between each other.

Yes, Mihai had some conversations about selling his account, BUT PAY ATTENTION — conversations that he did not initiate. Unexpected conversations initiated by other people, where Mihai simply rejected every offer.

What did he do wrong?

And more importantly, how can you take Telegram conversations, which can easily be fake, and use them as evidence in a situation this serious, refusing to pay $550,000 to me and $100,000 to Mihai after he played daily on your website for one year and generated $30 million in turnover with considerable losses?

Both Mihai and I accept any test, any phone discussion, face-to-face meeting, lie detector test, anything necessary for justice to be done.

Honestly, I no longer have the strength for this. I have reached the limit fighting these accusations based on terms that are abusive and unfair.

NEITHER I NOR MIHAI HAVE EVER RENTED, SOLD OR SHARED OUR CLOUDBET ACCOUNTS.

Only I accessed my account and only I placed bets on my account.

And Mihai alone accessed and placed bets on his own account.

Hello everyone. I am the Cloudbet user winwin96.

I’ve come back to provide a few updates regarding my situation. In the past few days I haven’t posted anything because we tried to resolve things amicably and for them to pay me the $550,000 without me having to continue publicly exposing the situation. I don’t want to harm them, make all of this public, and only in the end receive my money. They could have paid me from the beginning and their image wouldn’t have been affected.

In the end, they returned my $193,000 deposit, but the rest of the money—around $350,000, which represents my profit from that 3-day betting session—refuse to pay it.

I will do everything possible to receive the remaining $350,000, because it is my money that I risked. I’m not extremely wealthy—I have hundreds of thousands of dollars, not millions—but I have a good income and I earn well every month, and I invest all my money in betting (“invest”… :))).

Regarding what some of you said above… I never intended to reach $550,000, such a big amount. I simply deposited $20k, $30k, $50k at a time, until the deposits reached almost $200k. After that I won $150k, withdrew part of the money (but they didn’t approve the withdrawals), kept playing, won more money, withdrew again, and so on. I would withdraw some money and leave some balance to continue playing with.

Because their withdrawals take up to 24 hours, sometimes even longer when it comes to large amounts (for them $50k–$100k are considered large amounts 🙂, but when you lose $200k they are no longer large amounts), since they didn’t approve the withdrawals, I kept playing. I happened to win, and eventually several hundred thousand dollars accumulated in withdrawals plus other money still in the balance. If they had approved the withdrawals one by one, this entire amount wouldn’t have accumulated all at once.

The problem is that in this company you simply cannot have a serious dialogue with anyone. I never wanted to make this public, because I didn’t want to harm them—even though they had already harmed me by blocking my account. Even if they eventually paid me, the damage to me had already been done.

But I thought: why would I make this public and only in the end get paid, while their image gets damaged, when they could have simply paid me from the beginning?

I explained this to them on chat and to Kevin (although those people don’t really care—they are just employees). I asked to speak with someone who has decision-making power and who understands the company’s image and future better, but they refused to connect me with such a person.

I tried many times to explain that I have many ways to make this situation go very viral on the internet, not just on forums but also on Instagram and Twitter (and I actually do). The only reason I haven’t acted yet is because I’m rational and I don’t want to harm them. I don’t want to make this public, get paid in the end, and also damage their image, when they could simply be fair and pay me without me posting anywhere.

It seems that words alone don’t matter to them and they don’t make the right decisions, and that public exposure is required for their image to be damaged before they decide to pay.

Because even if they eventually pay, their image will still be somewhat damaged, since people will understand that initially they had no intention of paying. But at least if they pay, it would be far better than refusing to pay and forcing me to take legal action and contact all the influencers I personally know or know through connections to spread this case everywhere. And I’m talking about influencers from the sports and entertainment world with 5–10 million followers on each account.

However, it seems that until I actually do this, they won’t wake up to the reality of what impact this could have on their company. They are forcing me to do it by refusing to fairly pay the $350k, and soon I will.

Account restriction for over a month

Dear AskGamblers,

I was an active user of Cloudbet since summer 2025 (July if I am not mistaken or around that time period) and after approximately 9 months on 11th of April 2026 I have received an email from the Operator stating that my account is currently temporarily restricted for a standard betting integrity review that can take up to 6 months.

All these months I have been using Cloudbet with absolutely no issues or interferences and I had been depositing and withdrawing in USDT from my crypto wallet address and placing sports bet solely on basketball events from all over the world in markets offered by the Operator (Cloudbet).

I would like to ask your help to understand what exactly is being investigating and why this happened suddenly after some winning slips as well as how its possibly that this might take up to 6 months!

I had in my account approximately 2500 EUR or even more (did not manage to check final balance after some winning bets since I was locked out).

Moreover let me note here and clarify that I had a fully operational and verified account for many months as mentioned above and I have never operated any duplicated account or a second account or third account. I always had one and only account on my personal name and was logging in to my account always from my personal mobile phone device.

There is now over a month that I didn’t get any response from Cloudbet casino team!

Looking forward to your prompt reply and resolution of my complaint!
