Delayed payment and no timeline provided to resolve my issue with $705 bank transfer
I submitted a withdrawal request on July 24th for $705 via direct bank transfer. I received a response saying it was approved and processed on July 25th, and the funds would be in my account within 5 business days (see email pasted below).
“RE: Withdrawal Request Number: tzxcaw9rn.
Thank you for your recent withdrawal request dated 24-07-2019 for the amount of CAD 705.00. Your withdrawal has been processed for the approved amount of CAD 705.00.

After 8 business days (Aug 6th), I still had not received the funds, so I sent an email inquiry to the support team and was then told that they were facing a backlog and my withdrawal had not yet been processed (see email pasted below).
“Thank you for contacting Bodog Customer Service.
We deeply apologize for any inconvenience caused.
As a result of a large number of withdrawals being requested, we've experienced a backlog in overall withdrawal transactions. Although your $705 withdrawal was approved on July 24/19, we'll be falling outside of our approximate 3-5 business day time frame.
The Withdrawal Team is working very hard to have this issue resolved.

As this seemed very odd and quite frankly unacceptable after already being told it was processed back on July 25th, I phoned into the support line and was given the same generic and run around excuse. I then politely asked for a timeframe on when I can expect to receive my funds, and was told that it was open-ended and no timeframe could be provided... Really?
This whole experience has been extremely unprofessional and Bodog’s communication/handling of the situation has simply been unacceptable. I have never encountered anything even remotely close to this with any other gambling site. I would recommend staying away from Bodog and their questionable business practices.
At the very least, I would expect some urgency and confirmation on when my withdrawal will be processed, as it’s far beyond their their stated terms, not to mention that I was told it was already processed 2 weeks ago.
