On Monday I started to play at betfair.com and finally won about 750 GBR.
I used my credit card for deposit and after returning my initial deposit decided to withdraw winnings to a new card. I registered it with a small deposit and requested a second withdrawal.
On the next day I got mail from Betfair that my account was temporarily suspended as part of their standard verification procedures. I just wonder why they started to verify my identity after the first successful withdrawal and sent them all they wanted.
And then a nightmare started. In order for my account to be reopened they need me to send them in a screen shot of me holding each of my documents.
As verification team explains they want to confirm if these documents have not been stolen to ensure that my details are not being used by an external party.
I don't want to pass through this humiliating verification check. They didn't care so much about my identity when I made deposits and returned it back. Seems like they look for a reason to avoid paying me.
I'd like to ask Askgamlers to help to resolve this conflict in a more respectful way. Finally I want my 749 pounds to be paid to my new card and my account may remain closed.
Kind regards, Shireen
