MonoPlay gets the sports betting aspect of its offering right, but it falls massively short in areas of the customer experience, most notably, its withdrawal terms and conditions.

First, the good. The site does have a strong selection of sports to bet on, with competitive odds and some good live markets. It also offers useful betting features like Early Payout and an Event Builder.

Our biggest issues with MonoPlay were in the banking department. The site accepts deposits from a range of methods, including Visa/Mastercard, Revolut, Rapid Transfer, Paysafecard, and more. The minimum deposit on the site is €10. It is worth noting that the available methods may change depending on your location.

You can also deposit using cryptocurrencies, with the minimum deposit being €10. The maximum deposit amount varies between methods, ranging from as low as €400 with Rapid Transfer to €5,000 with cryptos.

Withdrawals are where the site runs into issues. Players need to wager their deposit amount five times before they can make a withdrawal, which is a major problem that will frustrate many players.

Further to this, the site can charge an 8% fee for multiple withdrawals in a month. These are big red flags, and you should be well aware of them before signing up.

To make things even more frustrating, you cannot view much information about payments and available methods until you have already signed up for a MonoPlay account.

Early payouts are offered on basketball, ice hockey, handball, American football, and baseball. The conditions for each payout are listed on the site’s promotions page.
• Event Builder: The Event Builder allows players to mix and match different markets to build their own bets. For example, in football, you might build a bet that features selections from markets like first goalscorer, scoreline, and more.
• Combo boosts: The site offers combo boosts on bets with three or more selections, providing boosts from 5% with three selections, all the way up to 70% with 14 or more selections.

Most Popular Sports at MonoPlay

MonoPlay has a solid, though not spectacular, selection of sports to bet on, with around 30 options. Like most sportsbooks, football dominates, with over 900 markets available at the time of writing this MonoPlay review.

We were impressed with the site’s selection of virtual sports and esports betting markets. There was also a strong range of ice hockey and tennis markets, with solid odds on future markets for events like Wimbledon and the Stanley Cup.

MonoPlay Customer Service and User Experience

The MonoPlay customer experience is a mixed bag. Creating a MonoPlay account is a very smooth experience. Customers simply need to provide a valid email address and phone number, and they are ready to go. 

The site asks for no account verification during the initial sign-up process, but it will seek it out when you attempt a withdrawal. 

There is 24/7 customer support via live chat on the site, and a fairly comprehensive help section with information on various aspects of the sportsbook. However, a lot of information around things like payments can be difficult to find, including payment limits and available methods. This information is not accessible until you sign up for an account. 

In terms of mobile accessibility, we tested MonoPlay across mobile browsers and were impressed. However, no MonoPlay app was available at the time of writing this review. 

MonoPlay’s Commitment to Responsible Gambling

The MonoPlay responsible gambling page could benefit from some improvements. It offers fairly standard information, with the names of sites like BeGambleAware and Gamstop, without providing links to them. 

It also has a self-exclusion option, but this can take 10 days to be actioned, which is not ideal if you are a customer seeking support.
