Winnings confiscated with no justification


I opened an account with spinit, played the new account bonus and came away with a win of just under 1.7k. No terms or conditions were broken and everything seemed fine. Was asked for verification documents which I sent and they were accepted promptly, I was told the payment would be made soon.

Low and behold a few days later they sent an email saying my winnings were confiscated and my deposit (£100) would be returned, no reason was given. I chased them up and after wasting about 30-40 minutes on live chat was told I had broken the terms by being involved in "fraud and collusion". Again, they were unwilling to offer any explanation or evidence for their accusation.

I had absolutely no idea what they could be referring to, however having looked at other complaints on this site against spinit it's pretty obvious they've made a habit of doing this to avoid payouts. Just to clarify again, no terms were broken my end, and all of my verification documents were accepted and I was told the payment would be made soon before they came up with this confiscation out of the blue.

The behaviour of this casino is absolutely disgraceful and is nothing but outright theft against it's players, enticing new players in with bonuses, keeping any deposits from losing players and confiscating any winnings from others, a no lose proposition for them. I'm not sure what good a complaint here will do as it seems all of the others have been ignored but it's worth a shot, if nothing else to advertise this sham of a casino.

I can confirm that spinit did eventually pay me but I would add a few notes to that.

I opened a complaint with ecogra who are their appointed adjudication service, I had to chase ecogra and spinit up for over two months before I got any kind of response. Eventually ecogra informed me that the delay was due to them still waiting for information from spinit. I spoke to spinit and they were telling me there was no record of ecogra contacting them and the complaint was closed as far as they were concerned.

Ecogra confirmed that they had continued to try and contact spinit but spinit were refusing to co-operate with them. This is particularly laughable considering that spinit appointed ecogra themselves as their adjudication service. I continued to contact both parties and also started copying the gambling commission into all of our correspondence so they could see that spinit were blatantly breaking the terms of their licencing agreement.

Long story short, after 3 months of chasing, an essays worth of emails (and absolutely no communication from spinit at any point) I eventually received a message saying they had "reviewed the case" and low and behold, they were now happy to pay me. I asked them to explain why they had changed their mind and for more information on what evidence they had of my "fraud and collusion" but of course none was forthcoming.

In summary, they attempted to steal funds from me with absolutely ZERO justification or evidence for their slanderous claim of fraud and collusion. They then ignored all of my emails and all attempts from ecogra to contact them for over 2 months. They then eventually paid out when I started including the gambling commission in the emails but with no explanation, no apology and no extra compensation. They basically had a free shot at stealing my funds with no ultimate cost to them for doing so, I wonder how many other people they've done this to (quite a few judging by the other complaints).

Needless to say you continue to advertise them on your platform, brilliant.

ignoring all my emails, blocked me from logging in

I joined spinit casino November 23rd 2022. On the 24th I withdrawn £2400. It stayed pending for 2 days and then they emailed asking me for passport, utility bill, bank cards used, bank statement, selfie with passport and a hand written letter, Apple ID, bank app details and more utility bills. Messages have been sent back and forth for over a week requesting more and more documents until there’s nothing left to request. They finally asked for a most recent bank statement which wasn’t issued for 4 days (today) they said as soon as they received this they would process the funds. I sent it today. I was told on chat to be patient and still not verified. They are ignoring all my emails, blocked me from logging in and there’s no contact number. I have every email, every chat conversation and all the withdraws they owe me. If refusing to pay the winnings then I want every deposit refunded back to the cards deposited from. I’m furious at the fact I’ve spent a full week sending document after document. I read all the reviews on trust pilot and seems I’m not alone. It’s fraud. There’s no reason not to pay and you’ve stated every document has been fine. No issues so how can’t my account be verified and winnings be paid out. I’ll attach screenshots. I want my £2400. You then emailed me telling me you are closing the site down from December 6th and all winnings have to be withdrawn. Mine are withdrawn but you won’t process them.
