Failure to Enforce Self-Exclusion & Irresponsible Gambling Practices
Complaint Details:
I am filing a serious complaint against RajaBets for their continuous failure to honor my repeated requests for self-exclusion over the past 9 months.
Despite clearly informing them multiple times that I want to permanently self-exclude my account due to gambling-related harm, they have refused to take appropriate action. Instead of responsibly restricting my access, they repeatedly encouraged me to keep my account active, stating that “there is no cost or obligation involved” and suggesting I could return anytime.
This response is highly irresponsible and unacceptable. When a user explicitly requests self-exclusion, especially over a prolonged period, the operator is obligated to act immediately to protect the user from further harm. Encouraging continued access in such situations is a clear violation of responsible gambling principles.
Due to their negligence and refusal to enforce self-exclusion, I have suffered severe financial losses amounting to approximately ₹50,00,000. This situation has caused me significant emotional and financial distress.
