Loyalty Gift MacBook order cancelled 4 months of waiting
I opened my account September 2020. Between Then and the next two months I had 40,000+ Canadian in deposits and losses around the same. I was asked to complete a source of funds verification and promised a customized MacBook upon completion.
I completed the lengthy process, often getting what were perfectly valid and fair documents rejected and being asked personal questions about my bank transaction such as transfers to family and such which seemed very intrusive and had nothing to do with my casino deposits.
I went along and it was about a month til it was finally completed and I regained the ability to withdraw and a MacBook was ordered to me mid to late October as promised. It was custom and a 2 month wait so I requested cash value instead but was told it was not possible so no big deal.
Roughly 2 months later, mid December the order was cancelled. I called Apple and their direct line and provided this same # to PlayOJO as I have been honest with them since day one and informed them I was told by the Apple representative their payment declined. They could confirm themself if they liked. I asked again for a cash alternative as I didn’t want to wait again for this custom MacBook 2 months. I proposed other alternative items on Apple in stock of equal value but a new order was placed December 13th. It was scheduled to arrive Feb 8th-21st. I emailed PlayOJO on January 22 and 25th simply asking if they could please make sure the payment method they used is still good so we don’t have a repeat of last time. No responses to either emails for weeks.
The new order again was cancelled after I waited another 2 months on Feb 7th.
I informed PlayOJO immediately. I emailed on the 7th right away and have yet to receive a reply. I sent them a link to the in stock item on BH Photo and Video with same specs at a cost of $6,200 while again for the third time requesting cash equivalent as this is become a hassle waiting.
I think it’s deceptive and unacceptable to make a gambler believe they have a $6,000 item coming to them for 4 months as they allow you to gamble on their site. I stopped playing as I lost trust in them because of this issue but after being reassured the order would go fine this time I went ahead and played with $1,200 as a sign of good faith that I keep my word and said I will be back on their site once I get some assurance they hold their end of the deal.
Yet it ended up getting cancelled and I got removed from being an A Lister and have now been weeks without even a single courtesy response on support, VIP, and online chat.
I don’t normally complain. But this has been quite misleading and a slap in the face for someone that’s given them 40 grand. They sent me headphones and small gifts from Apple before and were friendly and I’m sure still a great team and I always give everyone the benefit of doubt but having a lack of response for weeks and being as patient as waiting 4 months for an order to have it cancelled and no one reaching out to me or responding is not acceptable and unethical.
