I am submitting this complaint regarding an incorrect jackpot payout while playing on PlayFame Casino.
While wagering exclusively with Sweepstakes Coins (SC) and being opted into the Sweepstakes Coin Jackpot, a jackpot spin was triggered and resolved as a Gold Coin (GC) jackpot instead of a Sweepstakes Coin jackpot. This outcome contradicts PlayFame’s own promotional wording, jackpot descriptions, and player-facing representations.
PlayFame’s Gold Coin Jackpot is explicitly described with the language:
“With every spin of the wheel using Gold Coins, you stand a chance to win big prizes.”
This wording clearly ties Gold Coin jackpot eligibility to spins made using Gold Coins. By contrast, the Sweepstakes Coin Jackpot is presented as a separate system that requires manual opt-in and applies when wagering with Sweepstakes Coins.
Nowhere in PlayFame’s published terms or jackpot explanations does it state that:
• Sweepstakes Coin spins still qualify as “Gold Coin spins,” or
• Sweepstakes Coin gameplay can resolve into a Gold Coin jackpot, or
• Gold Coin jackpot eligibility overrides Sweepstakes Coin jackpot eligibility during SC gameplay.
While the terms state that players are automatically eligible for the Gold Coin jackpot, they do not disclose that this eligibility applies even when not spinning with Gold Coins. The phrase “with every Gold Coin spin” reasonably implies that Gold Coin jackpots are tied to Gold Coin gameplay, not Sweepstakes Coin gameplay.
This interpretation is further reinforced by PlayFame’s own AI chatbot, which stated on the platform:
“If you played with Sweepstakes Coins, you should have received an SC jackpot wheel. Receiving Gold Coins instead is not the expected behavior for the jackpot spin,”
and
“The jackpot wheel should match the coin type you are using.”
These AI responses originated directly from PlayFame’s official support chatbot and reasonably reinforced the expectation that jackpot outcomes correspond to the currency being wagered.
Additionally, PlayFame’s in-platform jackpot history shows Sweepstakes Coin Minor jackpots averaging approximately 900 SC, making an SC Minor payout the reasonable and expected outcome when a jackpot is triggered during Sweepstakes Coin play.
Given the explicit “with every Gold Coin spin” language, the opt-in structure for Sweepstakes jackpots, the absence of any disclosed rule combining jackpot systems during Sweepstakes Coin play, and the contradiction from PlayFame’s own AI support, I believe the jackpot payout was incorrectly credited.
PlayFame’s Gold Coin jackpot is described using the specific language: “With every spin of the wheel using Gold Coins, you stand a chance to win big prizes.” This wording directly ties Gold Coin jackpot eligibility to spins made using Gold Coins. A reasonable player would therefore understand that Gold Coin jackpots are triggered by Gold Coin gameplay, not Sweepstakes Coin gameplay. If Gold Coin jackpots were intended to trigger during all spins regardless of currency, the reference to “using Gold Coins” would be unnecessary and misleading. Nowhere in the terms or jackpot descriptions does PlayFame clearly state that Sweepstakes Coin spins are still treated as Gold Coin spins for jackpot purposes. As a result, when playing in Sweepstakes Coin mode and having opted into the Sweepstakes Coin jackpot, it was reasonable to expect that any triggered jackpot would resolve as a Sweepstakes Coin jackpot rather than a Gold Coin jackpot. I am requesting that PlayFame correct the jackpot payout and credit the appropriate Sweepstakes Coin Minor jackpot, consistent with the currency used.
