Takes your money with no issues but refuses to pay

I made many deposits with Bovada with absolutely no issue but when I try to get my money that I won it's a nightmare. The checks the send are near impossible to cash, everywhere I go I'm being told it's not worth the paper printed on, so that's the first issue I've been dealing with for a few weeks and they said they would cancel check for $40 and redeposit into my account. The next issue was My dad and I have the same name he's a Sr and I'm a junior, and yet they insist we are the same person and therefore breaking their policy. We both sent in our IDs and everything requested but they can't seem to understand we are 2 different people. The drew out the ID verification for days and started making up stuff so they could prolong the process. I sent them all the requested info and they told me everything was good but the next day they said they need me to resign paper and it would take up to 48hrs more and did this ever time I requested an update. So they ended up canceling both my father and my accounts since they say we are the same person and took back all money in account. They said they will refund the deposits we made but that is yet to be seen. If I would have lost all my deposits and never requested a payout I guarantee there would never had been issue. Bovada is quick to take your money but when it becomes time to pay up they will find any reason not to pay you.

As now Bovado has refunded initial deposits but all winnings they kept. I would advise anyone that is thinking about playing with Bovado not to, but that is just my opinion. Thank You AskGamblers for creating a website that exposes wrong doings by casinos.

Bovada please respond in writing with your resolution, I've been told to call you numerous times and most of the time they put me on hold and tell me no one is available after a half hour. When I do get through to someone I'm told a different story every time, I've complied with all your requests for information and one of your associate told me to expect a deposit, but a few hours later you deleted my account and took all funds in it.

The check that was uncashable was for $400.11 and ask them to cancel check and deposit to my account and they said it there would be a $40 charge to do that, so that withdraw should be $360.11. My account had $600 in cash with no pending bonus amounts and my father had $650 in cash with no bonus pending and they terminated both accounts. I'm owed $960.11 total and my father had a pending $650 withdraw they cancelled. I can send proof of the requests if needed.

Account still disabled due to investigation since May 24 with 11000

So during May of this year I went on a pretty good run with my baseball bets, and I ended up getting my account balance up to around $8,000. I tried withdrawing $4,600 on May 23rd, with the request being eventually denied. I'm sure you guys are familiar with their process when they do this, but they proceeded to ask me for identity verification. I submitted all the necessary documents, and soon the verification team emailed me saying the requested documents have been received and verified. I logged back into my account and placed two more bets on two different baseball games ($750 each which made over $1,000 profit on each) and submitted another withdrawal attempt, also I'd like to mention that once I logged back in, I noticed they placed betting limitations on my sports bets. I went to sleep and woke up to both of my games hitting which was super nice, but when I tried to log in I got the dreaded "Your account has been disabled, contact customer support." Of course the withdrawal I placed after submitting my documents got rejected as well, and now it is July 16th, with no conclusion and each time I contacted them, I'm given a similar response. They ask for patience, which I've tried my best to be but honestly that kind of money could make a different for me big time. I'm aware of the situation because it happened to my friend's wife's account but her account got resolved in around 4 days. It's almost been two months with my account.

Please help. The money that they're holding in my account would be super impactful especially right now. I've pleaded with them and they just keep saying be patient. I don't know what sort of investigation could potentially take this long but I need answers.

Bovada Account disabled after completing verification

I’m filing this complaint against Bovada because they disabled my account, and despite providing the requested documentation, they keep it locked.

I deposited and played over the course of the last several months and successfully withdrew before. Recently, I won roughly $18,700, my biggest win ever and I tried to make a withdrawal.

On July 2, 2026, they asked for documents to verify my account, which I provided the same day. On July 3, 2026, my account was re-enabled after my documents were reviewed. Then on July 8, I got my account to 18.7k, and before attempting my withdrawal, I updated the phone number on my account because I was having issues receiving text messages. However, on July 8, when I tried to withdraw my winnings, my account was disabled again and placed under investigation. I received an automatic reply that my account is under review and have been told by live chat that I would receive an update within 24–48 hours, but that time has passed and I still cannot access my account or my funds.

I contacted their live chat throughout the process.

This is very shady. I hope this can be resolved and not take months like some cases, as I see so many cases like mine where people feel unsatisfied or scammed.

Withdrawal Declined and no reply

I have been a verified account holder on Bovada.lv and made a deposit of approximately $4,000 in May 2026. When I attempted to withdraw my winnings, my account was suddenly disabled for review with no explanation provided.
This is actually the second time this has happened. My account was previously suspended in April 2026, at which point I completed the full verification process and was told my account was in good standing. I even confirmed this with their support team before making my deposit, and was explicitly assured I could use the account without any issues.
It has now been over two weeks since my withdrawal was blocked and my funds have been frozen. I have received no timeline, no explanation of what is being investigated, and no resolution. I believe Bovada is deliberately delaying withdrawals to avoid paying out customer winnings.
I am requesting that my funds be released immediately and that Bovada provide a clear explanation and timeline for this review.

I have also filed a consumer complaint and my next step would be to provide this information to FBI for investigation in this company for not releasing our money.

Bovada Account Disabled after verification complete

I'm filing this complaint against Bovada because they disabled my account, and despite providing the requested documentation, they keep it locked.
I deposited a few times over the course of last few months. and never won anything, but recently got a balance up to roughly $4800 and tried to make a withdraw.
but my account on Jun 8 2026 got disabled. They asked for a set of documents for verification, which I provided 1st time that same day. But had to resubmit properly. after delays up to Jun 15. I received an automatic reply that they got my documents, and account is under review. Account has been disabled since Jun 8 and I’ve not able to login.

This is very shady. I hope this can be resolved.
And not take months like some cases. as I see so many cases like mine and people feeling unsatisfied or scammed.

Refuses to respond

Months ago I got back into betting hang my Bovada account which I’ve had for years and never any issues, I was offered a bigger bonus which I accepted and then did the rollover betting on various events and specifically tennis, I ended up getting lucky and doing pretty well and went to withdraw and was asked for my ID and proof of address which I sent in right away. Now after 6+ weeks I still havent gotten any response or communication into what is going on or why they refuse to let me withdraw.

Seems to be when I was a loser they let me withdraw just fine but the one time I win I now had to jump through all these hoops and they are refusing to let me withdraw.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Bovada Account Disabled and Verification Pending for Over 10 Days With No Updates

My Bovada account was disabled on May 20, 2026.

Shortly after my account was disabled, I received a verification request from Bovada. As soon as I received the email, I submitted all requested documents, including:

1. Front and back copies of my government issued ID
2. A photo of myself holding my ID next to my face
3. A full page proof of address document dated within the last 60 days

I submitted all of these documents immediately and have fully cooperated with the verification process.

It has now been more than 10 days since I submitted the requested documents, and I have not received any update regarding the status of my verification or my account. I have contacted Bovada for an update, but I have not received any meaningful information about when the review will be completed.

In addition, there is approximately $11,000 currently in my account balance. Because of the significant amount of funds being held while the verification review remains pending, I am increasingly concerned about the lack of communication and the extended delay.

I would also like to clarify that the address on my Bovada account matches the address shown on the internet bill I submitted as proof of address. However, the address on my driver's license is different, as it has not yet been updated. Despite this, I provided all requested documentation immediately and have fully cooperated with the verification process.

I understand that verification reviews may take some time. However, I believe that more than 10 days without any update is unreasonable, especially considering that all requested documents were submitted immediately.

I am requesting that Bovada provide an update on the status of my verification review and, if everything has been successfully verified, restore access to my account as soon as possible.

Account disabled with 8200 declined withdrawal

Bovada declined my withdrawal of about 8200 and disabled my account on May 23rd, 2026. They sent an email stating I need to send in my ID, front and back, and a selfie holding my ID, also a proof of address which I did. I sent in a gas bill. They said it would take 24-48 hours to resolve my issue. It has been longer than that and the customer service chat is no use. They say there is no time frame which I find insane that they would close my account and tell me to send in my information, then proceed to tell me there is no time frame to get this resolved. I have seen the complaints on here and I have to say I'm worried about sending in my information to them.

I'm asking for help from ask gamblers to hopefully get them to speed up the process so I can continue with my withdrawal. Honestly this whole thing is making me not even want to use their site anymore and seeing these complaints on here has made me have doubts about this company. Ask gamblers can you please assist so I can withdrawal my funds please.

I wrote this formal complaint on 3-15-26 after escalating over $3,000 of confiscated funds taken away from my account respectfully and was told by Bovada's dispute complaint department a response would be had no later than 10 business days, yet here we are roughly 90 days later and to no avail/no response period! This despite several attempts to resolve 5-30-26.

Formal Dispute of Refer-a-Friend Confiscation

To Whom It May Concern,

I am formally disputing the confiscation of over $3,000 from my Bovada account related to an alleged Refer-a-Friend violation. But no specific clause or term has been identified.

My referral is a legitimate, separate individual who does not live with me and has never used the same device, or Wi-Fi network.

Despite requesting clarification, Bovada has not identified the specific clause in the Terms of Service or Refer-a-Friend program that was allegedly violated.

Please provide the following:

The exact section of the Terms & Conditions that was violated

The evidence used to determine this violation

The justification for confiscating both my winnings and my referral deposit

If no specific contractual violation can be identified, I respectfully request that my funds be reinstated immediately.Winnings and my original referral deposit. Or please escalate to your investigations department for formal review. Lastly

If necessary, I will escalate this matter through formal dispute channels and public complaint services if to no avail.

Disabled account with 1833 USD

Hello,

I'm filing this complaint against Bovada because they disabled my account, and despite providing the requested documentation, they keep it locked with my funds.

I deposited there 2166 $ and never won anything because they limited my account, so after that, I decided to withdraw my balance, but my account on 22 April 2026 got disabled. They asked for a set of documents for verification, which I provided 1st time on 05/06/2026. I received an automatic reply that they got my documents, but my account was still disabled for days after.

I contacted their live chat, and their CS acted surprised that they didn't get my documents and asked to resend them.

I provided them with the same set of documents on 05/12/2026, but this time, after 2 days, I got an email saying that my account is under review right now. It has been over a week, and nothing has happened.

This is very shady. I feel I'm going to get scammed by this company, as I see so many cases like mine. I would understand if the verification were taking so long if I had won an enormous amount, but my account was not even in profit, and I just would like to get my money back.

I am submitting this complaint and kindly asking for your assistance regarding an issue with an online casino.

I have been using this platform for almost 3 years. Around 6 months ago, I became more active, went through significant losses, reached VIP status, and eventually managed to recover and move into profit through regular play.

At one point, my account balance reached approximately $168,000.

Everything was functioning normally until I requested a withdrawal — this was not my first withdrawal, but one of several:
