Verification process and Chargeback issue
So, February 9, 2025, my acct was disabled and I was asked to submit documents to verify my identity. I submitted all necessary paperwork/photos and was told I would receive a response/ email within 24-48 hours. However I never got any response for weeks. So after many contacts with chat support I was told all documents were received and I was waiting for a phone call. I was ask to provide a “good time” to call. So I requested 3/3/25 anytime because I would be off. I didn’t receive the call until 3/6 and at that time I was at work. I answered as much as I could and was told my account would be activated. But it wasn’t, so I went back to speaking with chat support (they were awesome by the way). I was just told again wait 24-48hrs. Welp I never received anymore information from the verification department. But I was told that I was verified. Next I receive an email 3/28/25 from the finance department saying there was a charge back of 529.50$ on 2/1/2025 and I needed to contact chat support. But they took the money from my 9000$ sitting in my Bovada acct. I checked my bank statement for that timeframe and didn’t see the charge back and sent screenshots of my account to the email address provided in the email. Then contacted chat support again as referred to in the email. Chat support again told me to wait 24-48hrs. Well today is 4/6. I have not received any calls or any additional emails regarding my acct. I did contact chat support before submitting this complaint. Now they can’t provide me anymore information other than wait for a call.

I also would like to point out that before all this happened I had submitted information to Bovada’s fraud Dept about a scammer I encountered. And wanted them to be aware of what the scammers was doing. I sent all screenshots I had on how this scammer got me…because I didn’t want anyone else falling for the same thing I did. I even sent this information to Matchpay. I’m not have any problems with Matchpay they actually thanked me.
